Went for a family vacation in May.
Even though it wasn’t high season we were very happy with our stay in Lake Placid. Hotel staff was helpful, smiling and caring. Room got cleaned as we simply asked for new towels. We had really good hotel service.
Great location. Everything was at a walking distance from the hotel. The Mirror lake so close to the hotel brought a really calm atmosphete.
Free and easy access parking was also kids friendly.
Room was fine and clean. Bad point is the AC was very loud and hot water wasn’t hot enough. Little balcony was nice with the lake and pool view. Terrasse and outside pool were closed at that time of the year.
Inside pool was clean and perfect for kids.
Nice snacks and beverages were displayed in the lobby in the afternoon. That was a nice attention as the champagne we were offered at the check in.
Food service in the room was poor quality. Pizza was good but the kids menu was a very cheap mac n cheese (kraft dinner) for 14$.
General experience was good.

Very comfortable room. Nice casual restaurant. Perfectly located to walk around town.

Great stay at High Peak Resort, the pools and Lake were awesome, especially during heat wave. Staff are friendly, hotel is located in the heart of Lake Placid, parking is included.

A real pleasure every time. It is my third time and it is always equal. These know what they are doing. As far as the lake...well no words to describe this jewel in the middle of the Adirondack!
