I enjoyed my stay, however the host doesn't communicate on/through the app as expected. And a few things were displeasing.
Checkin-Information was not adequate, the code for entrance into the house didn't work. I messaged the host and did not get a response. I called and there was no response. I called from a different number and finally got the host who almost yelled that the code CHANGED. The most important fact that the renter should know.
Ammenities-In the kitchen was an index card on the counter that said,"the Wifi isn't working", the gas grill didn't work and the lower part of the refrigerator/freezer tray could not be pulled out because it was frozen stuck with thick ice and water was on the kitchen floor from the leaking. There was no deep fryer or large quart pot or iron skillet..in case one wanted to fry fish since the grill didn't work.
Cleaning- The screened porch had thousands of dead bugs on the table and floor. The living room had bugs on the tables, the windows had thick cobwebs and the vent was black with dust. The back porch had gazillions of webs, spiders and bugs from top to bottom.
The cleaner gave detail to cleaning the kitchen, bathrooms and beds. But omitted the windows. I opened the blinds and discovered more webs, dust and bugs including flies.
My son cleaned up the bugs in the screened porch, vacuumed the windows in the living room, mopped up the water on the kitchen floor and attempted to blow with leaf blower and sprayed the back porch.
