Worst hotel in Lake Tahoe

The bathroom floor had water because of the leaking shower and there was missing tiles on the ceiling of the shower. The ceiling in the room damage and the bed was so hard to sleep on. The floors in the room were missing pieces and the lights kept flickering when on. When my husband and I were trying to sleep in people were stomping above us.

Horrible conditions

The fireplace did not work I have kids with me, and we froze all night even after your maintenance personal came in and adjusted it saying give it time it will get warm. The fireplace was not the fireplace that you have in the other rooms. Even if it did work, I could not imagine this tiny little fireplace warming up this whole room. -The TV is 19" while the other rooms have large tv's. It was Incredibly difficult for us to see. We had to cram in one bed just to watch tv. -There was one frying pan that had eggs still stuck to the pan and the pan was warped. I could not make a full breakfast due to the condition of the kitchen. I thought since there was only one pan, I would place the hash browns in the oven, and the oven didn't work. I now have to spend more money taking my family out to eat a full meal. -The towels were dirty, especially the wash rags. Clear dirt visually seen on the wash rags. -There was no laminate flooring. We had worn out carpet that was dirty and smelled. I appreciate your urgent response to this matter. I do not want a partial credit; I expect a full credit.

We had a great time staying at Big pines. Rooms were nice and clean. staff was very friendly and helping. Parking was nice and easy. Also hotel is very conveniently located with many attraction close by.

Big pines is excellently located hotel with good rooms and great vibes. They have wonderful staff , who is ready to help 24x7. I will recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a decent stay at budget price.

Convenient location for dining, Heavenly ski resort, and shops. You can walk to gondola. Older facility but room was clean. Nice to have kitchenette for breakfast and snacks. Staff was quick to respond to request for remote batteries and light bulb needed. Heating worked well. Overall, the facility could use an update on rooms and exterior but seemed safe and was fine for our ski tri.

I appreciate the cleanliness and customer service. Convenient location close to the gondola. You do get the loud drunks stomping and yelling. Overall staff was accommodating and were comfortable enough for a restful sleep.

the heater was making noise the whole night. only 1 extra blanket was provided in this cold weather. carpet floors irritated my children's skins. staffs spoke their native language in front of customers, made us feel unresentful.

When I booked the property, the pictures showed the room very different from what I got. The room was not like the one in the picture. Very small and smelled very bad. It looked more than a Mote. It was too expensive for what I got.
