Beautiful Home & Location
Publié le 9 juill. 2020 sur HomeAwayEverything about this condo was lovely. We were only frustrated with how much did not work and how unresponsive the property management was when we called. I wrote them afterwards, but have not heard back. It's been over a week.

Fraud advertised
Publié le 23 juin 2020 sur HomeAwayPlace was dirty, pet hair was all over the house and furniture causing bad allergies for the family. The sheets and blankets were dirty and full of human hairs in the master bed; they were not washed, we have to ua our own. The kitchen floor and rug were really dirty-never vacuumed or mop, the garbage disposal not working and sink was not draining. Power was out my entire stay and couldn’t get any help, this is a fraud rental, I am pursuing a refund and will not stay here again.

Message to condo owner
Publié le 14 mars 2020 sur HomeAwayHaving rentals myself I feel the condo owner needs to know the following.
In the guest bathroom, out of five light bulbs,
only one light bulb worked. Leaving the bathroom extremely dark.
None of the TVs downstairs worked. In the queen bedroom it was obvious that a previous guest must of ripped out the connection from the Direct TV box. So the condo owner is paying a fee for the box usage while it is not in working condition.
I also know that the exterior is under the home owner’s association jurisdiction, I do hope they deal with the deteriorating exterior paint very soon.

NOT A GOOD STAY
Publié le 23 août 2019 sur HomeAwayFirst the property looks much better in photos than in person. The furniture was stained, torn and not confortable to sit in, bedding blankets were stained. Half of the kitchen lights were out and could not be replaced due to a special order needed. The wood on the decks were in need of repair as some of the wood planks would pop up when walking on them. The chairs on the deck were not in good shape and we did not use them. The coffee maker was clogged and we had to clean it before we could have coffee the first morning. There was some problem with the HOA person and the property managment company regarding a deck railing that was replaced and we were in the middle of the debate. We left a day early because it was not a restful and relaxing place to stay in.

Lakeshore condo 81

However, it needs a lot of TLC, especially if they seriously want to sell (it is on the market which we didn’t know) When we got there we found that the back railing of the main deck with the bbq was gone, 40 foot drop. Note on door that it would be repaired by 7/1 and it was 7/22/19. Called the property manager and was told the HOA wouldn’t let them fix it and that all the rotting decks, stairs and wood walkways were under the purview of the HOA. But they did come out anyway to put up a temporary railing. They had my husband call the HOA and the HOA was very nasty and said it was what it was. My husband told them that he would call CalOSHA and they would take care of it. Also had many light bulbs out and the door knobs on the master bedroom and bathroom didn’t work. They fixed the knobs the 5th day of our stay. The light bulbs weren’t fixed. My husband had to hang out for 3 days of his vacation because of this. Nick the property manager said we would get a partial refund but we have never heard back from him. No screen door on the main deck, screen door on master deck didn’t work, and an old rotting portable spa was left on the other deck. The maintenance men that came to put the railing up disposed of it. The kitchen isn’t stocked well and the coffee pot didn’t work well and completely stopped working on the 6th day of stay. No broom, vacuum or cleaning supplies, so bring them if you need them. I didn’t and the floors were in bad shape when we left. Bought my own paper towels down at the market (only 1 paper towel roll for 7 days). Only 10 towels for 7 people for 1 week. Had to do a couple of loads of laundry. With this all said, we did have a good stay and the condo had plenty of room. The kids room was great and they loved the loft.
