Everything was great about this property. We will definitely be staying again. There was no A/C which was clearly stated and surprisingly the cabin stayed cool during the day if we closed all the windows and was pleasant at night even though we happened to visit with it was 97 in Montana. 10/10 recommend

Publié le 4 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe have only positive things to say. It was easy to get to , yet secluded . We had plenty of parking for 2 vehicles and our boat. The scenery was beautiful! The cabin was well equipped and clean. We enjoyed the fireplace on a chilly evening. We would love to come back again! Thank you !

Cabin in the woods
Publié le 11 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayComfortable & well appointed with some issues that needt to be addressed, such as switches & light switches that don’t work; the fireplace & air-tight stove needed to be cleaned before use & windows do not appear to have been cleaned for some time, part. the large windows…ent rance door latch does not operate properly. The above comments are not so much complaints as they are observations…that being said, we would not hesitate to return…a nice location!

That said, we apologize for the areas you found in need of some TLC and our local manager assured us they will check the switches and lights and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Additionally, both fireplaces were recently professionally checked and cleaned and housekeeping will clean them as needed. The team is in the process of hiring someone to clean the windows and we appreciate your feedback as we view it as an opportunity to improve. We enjoyed having you as our guest and we look forward to hosting you again.

Perfect Getaway

As they stated, the Internet is not reliable. Neither is the Dish Network. Don't plan on streaming services. Download content before you come, or bring your own DVDs.
The grill needs some work to be serviceable, also could not figure out the thermostat, but everything else was great!
The Lakeside Grocery store has less expensive firewood than Sliters.
We enjoyed the serenity of the place, the fireplace, the porch, the view, the gurgling brook. Perfect. We would definitely come back here!

Fall Getaway
Publié le 5 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayWhat's better than a cozy log cabin in the woods in the Fall? We loved it, everything we needed was available to us. Very nice after a long day to return to such a serene spot to cook a nice meal. The cabin provided so much, great appliances, cookware...thank you!

Blacktail Cabin Issues
Publié le 27 août 2023 sur HomeAwayNice location, poor response to an issue at the cabin. VACASA did not repair a tub spout that blew off the first floor tub/shower combo almost injuring our guest. This happened on a Wednesday morning and we left this morning, Saturday with no response. There are more issues that we had but we do not have the space to list them all. If you are interested in more detail, we will be glad to send it to you. We request compensation for the poor service we received. Please give us a call at 614-530-4973 if you want more info or I can email you a two page summary of our issues.

Publié le 22 août 2023 sur HomeAwayThis property was everything we hoped it would be and more. The loft was fantastic with the bathroom and comfortable bed, the kitchen area and living area large enough for all of us to gather for a meal. Everything was spotless! Can't wait to come back
