This establishment should not be rated more than 1 star. I have been in 2 star hotels that are way better than that. For the price I paid, it is definitely not worth it. For a few dollars more, you could get a 4 star hotel. I would not price this hotel more than $100. They overcharge because Grand Bend is a hip place to go.

The hotel was just average. What was completely weird was that our room and half of the other rooms were missing the boxsprings that goes with the beds. We had a king size mattress that was placed directly on the frame of the bed about 6 inches off the floor. Other rooms that we walked past down the hallway, had boxsprings though?

Check in was quick, the room was spacious and clean. I would expect parking to be more of an issue in the high season, as there did not appear to be parking specific for the property. Also, there is no elevator, something to keep in mind if that is important to someone.

Owner and his daughter at reception has a very poor customer service, got there from a long drive a bit earlier than the check in time, this guy appears saying nothing but come at 3pm, not one word of reception or anything, rude and arrogant on hospitality wise, room was ok, although windows dirty and full of spider webs on the outside. Got the room for a night, check out was told by 11:00 am, although by 9am this owner/ manager with his loud voice already talking on the corridor waking me up cleaning the other rooms as customers started to leave. I went to a few other hotels to compare prices and they were pretty much the same or cheaper. Not gonna come back, I’d still rather drive back t 2:30 hours other than staying at this same hotel if I had to.
