Check in was fine! Our room was in a back building with other guests directly above us, despite the fact that the hotel was fairly empty. We were next to the stairs which resulted in some noise issues as other guests arrived. AC unit was loud and beds were uncomfortable. The room was very damp and we noted 2 live cockroaches. Would not recommend.

Unfortunately, I was charged twice

The water backed up in the shower and the toilet so neither was useable after the first use. The water stayed backed up into the morning and there was not other accessible bathroom to guests outside of the one in your room.
The room was outdated and needed an updated including better lighting for a bedroom.
We were in the non-smoking building but you could see where walls, the tub of the shower, curtains, etc. had been burned from allowing smoking in the room in the past.
The concierge that checked us in had no enthusiasm and we appeared to be an inconvenience.
The card key folder given to us with our card keys appeared to be used more than once.
