Bikers’ Retreat
Publié le 21 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayLocated in the middle of the Root River bike trail, it’s a perfect location to go biking in either direction. And having the shed for locking up bikes was ideal. Quiet, peaceful little town offering an amazing pie shop a block from the rental property. The house was well equipped (except for towels- make sure to bring your own bath and hand towels). We loved the back deck and patio space for dining, hanging out, and for drying our wet clothes after a fun afternoon of tubing down the Root River.

Good Basecamp for a weekend in Lanesboro
Publié le 30 mai 2023 sur HomeAwayThis house is great for a small family. We had 2 couples so the bed situation (1 queen, 2 twins) was weird, but we made it work. It's well kept, owners communicated well. We saw a play in Lanesboro, went to some breweries and restaurants, visited a bluegrass festival, and did a good bit of fishing. Pretty great weekend getaway overall.

Beautiful house just off the trail

Girlfriends getaway

The place was gorgeous, meticulous, comforting homey, and a beautiful setting, a small, quaint town, outside of Lanesboro and Rushford, a sweet retreat in the fall the hostess personalized the trip by welcoming us in person, couldn’t have been better
