PERFECT Weekend Getaway spot!
Publié le 22 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis idyllic location in Berkshires is close to nearby Lenox, Stockbridge and Mount Greylock State Reservation. One thing to note is that the mountain road is closed from November 1st even on weekends so access to the summit is only possible by hiking and many of the local trails start higher up along that road. We tried to do the Mount Williams trail, which was designated as an easy hike... however due to the gate being closed it was harder than we anticipated. The area however is gorgeous and we found some cool shops and GREAT food. The cabin was so quiet and beautiful everything you could possibly need. Loved our little getaway and will definitely come back when the road isn't closed to check out more mountains. Olivia's Overlook was a lovely place for some pics. Museum Outlets in Pittsfield had some of the best and unique gifts! Fun, fun place and Pizzeria Boema had the absolute BEST wood fired pizza my husband and I ever had. Would LOVE to return to this perfectly situated, cozy and welcoming cottage for another trip to see more of the Berkshires in the future.

Nice Getaway
Publié le 16 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed my birthday getaway at this cozy retreat! Lots of little towns to visit and places to eat. The carriage house was very clean and located in a very quiet area. Our only suggestion would be to have written instructions on how to run the heater unit. It’s a great place to stay!
