I chose this hotel because it was a little out of the way to avoid the noise. I had a neighbor who I heard snoring all night as if he was in my room. I had a horrible night. I find that the breakfast is too light... there are a lot of dishes, based on rice, not necessarily suitable for a European clientele. The fruits are really absent apart from a few pieces of watermelon. I even saw a couple enjoying fruit that they had brought themselves. other than that, the hotel is beautiful, the rooms are relatively clean. it could be much better, one thing is certain, it is that a hotel is basically made for sleeping, I was not satisfied.

Nous avons passé 3 nuits dans cet hôtel. Les chambres sont propres . Il manque un peu d’équipement Pour cette gamme d’hôtel. Pas de coffre alors qu’il était an’ince Dans les équipements, pas de séchoirs , de savonnette. J’en petit déjeuner est très léger pour les personnes qui n’en mangent pas sales j’en latin. Absence de fruit, de yaourt ,etc.... l’emplacement est bien . Nous recommandons cet hotel.

Lovely tranquil setting at this accomodation Royale Chenang Resort - we saw monkeys, lizards, squirrels and crabs all while sitting by the pool! Breakfast was delicious and service was good too.

Poor room cleanliness

The room we were given was dirty when we checked in, with splatters all over the bathroom mirror, lids from used bottle still in the shower from previous guests and many items broken, eg toilet roll holder came apart on first night. We had to ask for shampoo and body wash as only enough given for one person to use and had to ask for toilet paper as this wasn’t replaced when room was tidy. So we were a little disappointed and not pleased with the cleanliness of the room. The hotel staff on reception were friendly and helpful when we asked but it got annoying to ask for things that should already be provided in the room. Breakfast was good, small but offered a mix of local food as well as English breakfast. The people running the restaurant were lovely.

The property was nice but other guest were very noisy till 4 am 3 nights in a row. Staff were too nice to comfort them.
