Don't waste your time and money

The property was not ready when we arrived. The 2 towels that were provided were wet. The couch smells like cat urine, the extra bed was removed, the pictures do NOT match the actual apartment, there were no hangers in the closet, there is no vacuum available, the carpet was dirty, the kitchen chairs are stained. I could go on but I think this is enough to save any future travellers. We ended up leaving this property and spending a lot to find something else on short notice. The owner has not provided a refund.

This person booked our property for 3 weeks. Then she said she’s canceling it. All of a sudden she arrived there without any notice. Property was not ready when she arrived because she texted me before arriving there saying she’s cancelling the booking. We got it ready for her promptly and she happily stayed there for 2 weeks. Extra folding bed which was there inside the suite was not needed for her because she booked it only for herself. 1 person. There is already 1 queen bed and a 1 queen sofa bed in the suite. Why would a person need 5 beds when the booking is only for 1. That why it was taken out. Then after her assignment was done she wanted to cancel the third week on the last day. By that time cancellation period was over and we had her stay there as well. We were not able to give her a refund because she kept the placed blocked for her self until the last day. Then she threatened me saying if I don’t give the refund, she’s going to write a nasty review. Here she goes! This review is a big lie. This person booked the property for 3 weeks back to back as 2 bookings. Then she wrote this exact same review twice. You will see it in the reviews section. Pictures shown in the posting is as exact same as the property. This review is totally incorrect and written with malicious intentions. Please be respectful and follow the house rules without trying to destroy the hosts and their business to cover up your mistakes which is very unreasonable!!

Save yourself the hassle!

The listing was misrepresented. Most of the pics in the listing are not of this apartment. The furniture smells, there are no basic amenities - not even clothes hangers. Only 2 towels and they were wet on arrival. The laundry takes 5 hours for one load. We left to find other accommodations. What a hassle!

This person booked our place for 3 weeks. Then stayed at our place for two weeks without any complaint and asked for a refund for the third week as their assignment was over. they kept it blocked without letting anyone else book it and so as per the cancellation policy she’s not entitled to a refund. Then she threatened me saying she’s going to write a nasty review if I don’t give a refund and here she goes. All the pictures posted in the listing are exactly how it is in the apartment and everything in this review is totally incorrect. Please be respectful to rules without trying to destroy the hosts and the place to cover up your mistake!

Would not recommend

We have not enjoyed this place and don't recommend it because: 1. It has very strong cat litter smell. 2. It is very noisy - rooms face very busy (day and night) Fraser highway intersection. 3. This apartment is a converted commercial space - ceiling lights are very bright/harsh. Bedroom had night stand lamps without bulbs and no sockets to plug them to. 4. Couch and bed look and feel very used.

Worst place I have ever stayed in.

I am not one to complain but wow We checked in and immediately were shocked. We had booked for 6 people. Advertised as room for 6. Only had bedding and towels for 4. There was a futon,a queen size bed and a single cot only. Dish soap for hand soap. No light bulbs in the lamps. Stains on the comforter. Sheets were so old that they were pilled and uncomfortable. Pillows were flat Coffee maker but no coffee. There was some instant coffee but I had no idea how old it would have been We arrived late otherwise we would have just left and tried to find something else I have never had an issue with Hotels.com before but I have totally lost faith in them now. Can’t believe they would advertise for a place like that.
