Didn’t live up to potential….

we have had no contact with the local host save 2 whatsapp messages one of which informed us that she did not speak English so text comms would be better. It seems someone is not doing their job in looking after this Villa and I’m sure the owner would be quite unhappy,the issues faced were: Pool cover ripped Pool light not working Pool paint flaking Pool net pole comes apart (extn) Pool filter/pump enclosure has dangerous electrics with non assembled consumer unit (not locked and tiny hands can open) Gazebo shade not supplied as per pictures Gazebo hammock not supplied as per pictures Table extension broken Barbecue missing charcoal tray No cooking bbq tools Sunshade stand broken No fuse-ball as pictured when booked No Villa instructions except for Wi-Fi (tv boxes, security system etc) B1 on suite shower drain slow and overflows B1 wc brush has no container B2 window shutters rattle all night with wind Kitchen breakfast bowls x 2 only (Villa sleeps 6) Strong damp smell In laundry room No games and books for children as mentioned in description (had a 3 year old) Had to reassemble fan and service to make it work General lack of attention to detail, not well maintained Given the 2.5k paid for this 2 weeks rental I feel the standard falls short of the price tag, we have frequented Lanzarote for 7 years but this, I’m afraid, is the worst Villa we have ever rented despite being the 2nd most expensive. Complaint Response: no responsibility taken.

The host is always available and committed to making their guests' stay most comfortable. If there is anything you require during your stay, it is important to contact your host, and they will gladly do their best to assist. In case of any communication issue, you can always turn to our international team at Holidu, who will be happy to assist you to resolve any situation or doubt as best as possible. We regret that the host was not contacted during your stay, in regard to the issues you mentioned, and we would like to put forward our comments. We assure you that the pool light has been checked and is working properly. Furthermore, the pool engine is properly covered, and is padlocked. Additionally, the barbecue model works well and has no deposit for coal, and the umbrella is in perfect condition. In regard to the outdoor table, one of the extensions was removed, however it is in good condition. All of our accommodation prices are checked ahead of publication to ensure that they are in line with the market prices for the location and the amenities offered. We appreciate your feedback, and hope to welcome you to a Holidu property again soon. Team Holidu.

Great place with a lovely pool

As a group of 4, we loved our stay at this spacious property. The rooms were lovely, comfy beds, ensuite toilets and showers were great. 20 minute walk to Playa Blanca beach and restaurants. Ample parking. We cooked a nice meal in the kitchen. Well equipped with dishwasher. So lovely to have the pool. Thank you
