This hotel promised free internet in the rooms witch was false & free breakfast but there was no breakfast or internet. Basically this is a 1,500 P hotel. If you pay more then that, do yourself a favor & go somewhere else.

This is a newish development, the advantages are that it is only 15 minutes from the airport and right on the coast. The room was advertised with a balcony but the balcony was 2/3 occupied by a/c condensor units so was effectively unusable. Food was not bad but service was slow

They were very inflexible when my flight was delayed due to weather. We lost our reservation and our money. We will never recommend this property. So many better places to stay!

What a pathetic excuse for a resort hotel this is. Cockroaches in the bedroom. Tap falling out of wall in bathroom. Thread bare bath towels Virtually nonexistent wifi. So very frustrating. Cats roaming unimpeded in the dining room. Coffee shop, sorry it’s closed. Has the feel of a 1970 soviet workers holiday Half the things on menu not available. Cigarette smoke stench pervading the corridor outside room The rest of the menu is very unappealing. Restaurant staff while polite and attentive seemed like they were doing work experience. Warm beer available, one needs to have ice bucket. Quiet mode on aircon sounds more like a tornado Paid for two nights but left after one, enough said.

Ok hotel great location
Hotel is located in a gated complex so you feel very safe. This hotel is more of residence while the hotel next door are like resorts. Good thing is while staying here your able to visit the other hotels if you want to enjoy their beach or pool. WiFi only works in lobby. Hotel staff are super nice.

Worst hotel ever. Would never stay again
Cost more once there cause my daughter turn 13 that day so my booking was more. Only WiFi in small lobby where all guest can stand if too many already there. The hotel has no food place and u have to go to the hotel next door with their small cafe. That cafe is small for all three hotels that share one cafe and breakfast always long wait .cable was out a whole day and when back on it was not that stable. When we check in or out there is nobody to help u with your bags. The desk person I guess the head person is not nice she don't care just want the money

Worst stay ever!
The room was fine, but then the aircon wasn't working good. We asked for service repair on our first day, but when we came back from our tour, aircon was still making a loud noise. We called for service again, they tried to fix it, first few hours the loud noise went off but early morning it went back again. Not worth the price! Very outdated!

A nice hotel
It says "hotel", but more like a condo in a gated community. A big plot of land is gated with security and in there are 3 to 4 hotel (or condo?) properties located adjacent to each others. I enjoyed the lovely swimming pools in there, and also you can enjoy the beach 5 minutes walk from the hotel. I am sure I booked a room with one double bed, but I got a room with TWO double beds. They didn't even mention about the upgrade, which is ridiculously amazing. (maybe it was a lucky mistake?) This hotel is perfect for people who need to stay and relax in Mactan Island for a day or two before leaving the Philippines.

A Nice Place, But Isolated
When I checked in they said they were upgrading me to a suite. "Fine with me" I said. The room was very nice and spacious, modern and clean. About a 4 star quality room. The complex has several nice swimming pools, but not a very good beach. Could not go scuba diving here, as the dive shop was fully booked. You might need to book in advance to ensure your place if you want to dive here. The complex is kind of isolated from outside restaurants, shopping, etc.

Vista mar beach Hotel
we booked for La Mirada for 3 to 9th sept 2016, when we reached there we informed that wifi available only in lobby , but due to our ongoing business trip we need Wifi very much and we share this thing with them , then they arrange a same room their SotoGrande hotel , La mirada and Soto Grande vistamar all are same compound , hotel staff are really cordial and helpful . hotel room view to sea is good . overall our experience is good . but just one thing keep in mind whenever you want to go city each taxi ride you need to pay 100 pesso extra as hotel is 3 to 4 mile away from highway .

Not so good. Hallways reeked of strong spices, no aircondioning on hallways, no hair dryer in bathrooms, hallways not well lighted, room keys old and hard to locate key holes . No face towels in bathrooms.

Pricier but worth it
La Mirada is the newest of the three adjoining properties in a compound with Sotogrande and VistaMar. I was upgraded from deluxe to suite which was sweet! Rooms are modern and well equipped, bathrooms lovely w hot water, wifi only in lobby alas, resto at Sotogrande only ok, but breakfast good, short walk to a sm private beach, quiet neighbourhood, a bit pricier but recommended for comfort.

Not luxury, but nice hotel, close to the beach.
We arrived a bit after the midnight, but hotel staff was awaiting us, including front desk man and porter. rooms are clean and rather spacious. Considering period of stay (Nov 26th-Dec 9th), there were not many guests around. La Mirada is a part of 3 hotels complex along with Soto Grande and Vista Mar hotels sharing several facilities (cafes, pools, beach, etc.). Location is good for family leisure, but it is a bit time-taking to get outside the hotel area (arranging taxi via reception would help, but may take quite a time), and may be troublesome to explain taxi driver on the hotel location while getting back from Cebu or even within Mactan. It is worth to mention Soto Grande or Vista Mar as point of destination, because La Mirada is not very well known.
