The bed was comfortable and the layout was spacious. Everything worked and the water was nice and hot. However, the carpet was disgustingly dirty, the walls needed a good cleaning too and the room just felt worn. But the price was reasonable!

For a brief, one night stay this property is what we needed. Bed was comfortable. Our room was cold and after talking with front desk, we were going to move to another room but then heat began to work. The family next to us got into argument that woke us at 1:15 in the morning. Fortunately, it carried on into the parking lot and they left. It was quiet after that. Nearby Walmart and Cracker Barrel.

La Quinta Inn review
The hotel as very good and the night clerk was able to answer many of my questions. My only complaint was that arriving late, just around midnight, I wanted some sort of meal but even the fast food restaurants were closed. I was able to get some food at the Circle K next door, thankfully.

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Every surface was torn, stained or falling apart. Honestly they need to tear this place down.

Okay, but needs attention
This stay was just a place to stay on the way home from a holiday trip. We had stayed at La Quinta Inns in the past and were satisfied so we were comfortable staying. First the pros - close to the freeway. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, breakfast options were okay. Cons - had to unplug AC unit in room as it was noisy, and the temp and fan settings could not be adjusted (touch pads were not responsive). Elevator floor was filthy and there was heavy scuffing of the hallway walls (we arrived on a holiday so maybe staffing was short?). Coffee at breakfast was not hot (this was between 7-7:30) In short, this location needs some love and attention. We needed a good nights' sleep, but for a longer stay, I would look elsewhere

It was so dirty and worn out. I was so disappointed. Hotels.Com rated as very good. I will not be able to trust those ratings again. If I were you, I would sever ties. This hotel reflects poorly.

Good place to stay in Las Cruces
Good place to stop with pets. We’ve stayed here multiple times. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Rooms are a little worn and standard. The cleanliness is so so in the rooms. The lobby and breakfast area is well kept and cleaned. Waffles, yogurt, cereal, hard boiled eggs, toast, coffee and juices. No breakfast meat, that would be a nice addition. The pet area is Grass with poop bags! Well done!!

Alright for the price
This hotel was fine, but a little more run down than I expected from the pictures. The room was decent but there was a lot of beeping from backing trucks outside despite it being Christmas Eve morning. I guess it was from the Walmart next door. Breakfast was loud as well. The workers were blaring a TV from the adjacent room, and it was louder than anything else. The hotel was pretty comfortable, but I didn't like all that racket in the morning.
