It's a nice place. Clean, fresh, smoke free rooms. Friendly staff. Close parking, and it's on casino property, so the security is good. I was disappointed that rooms were sold out on my way back through. I should have booked earlier.

My 2-night stay at The Hotel was an excellent experience.... the room was especially nice - extremely clean and comfortable. The beds and room temperature were as good as can be. In addition, Front Desk Staff are awesome, very friendly and helpful during check-in, staff would exchange pleasantries as we would pass front desk coming or leaving. Conveniently located next door to a casino, able to spend some fun time playing slot and watching horse racing. Overall, would rate this stay a "10"

Friendly staff run this fairly new property adjacent to the Sunland Park race track and Casino and Western Playland. Like most newer hotels, they are fairly noisy, you can hear the elevator chime, foot traffic in the hallway and doors opening/closing pretty easily with the door closed. Bed and pillows were comfy, bathroom was clean and decor was overall attractive. We stayed there to attend the New Year’s Celebration at the Casino. The trackside rooms would be pretty cool if you were there for the races with an excellent view of the track. No pool, no breakfast on site which most hotels of this kind (and lots of lesser properties)offer. Overall a good experience, let’s see if they can keep it nice. I’d say it looks like lots of little things aroun do the place show that there isn’t great attention to detail which could mean it will become a 3 or 2 star review in a year or two.
