Poor Communication and Double Charging - BEWARE!!!!
I had a very disappointing experience with this rental property due to significant communication failures and billing issues. I booked this property through Vrbo on May 12th. Despite receiving a confirmation from Vrbo, the host did not receive my booking details. This led to substantial confusion upon my arrival late night with my family.Double Charging Incident: Due to the host not receiving my booking confirmation, I was double charged for the stay:The first charge was made at the time of booking through Vrbo.The second charge was made directly by the host when they claimed they hadn't received any booking information.Lack of Support from Vrbo: I immediately contacted Vrbo support to resolve this issue. However, despite numerous follow-ups, I have yet to receive a satisfactory response or resolution. This lack of support has added significant stress and financial burden to my trip.Impact of the Issue:Financial Strain: The double charge has put a considerable strain on my finances. I expected Vrbo to handle this professionally and ensure I am not charged twice for the same stay.Time and Stress: Resolving this issue has consumed a lot of my time and caused undue stress, detracting from the overall experience of my trip.Conclusion: While the property itself met my expectations, the severe communication issues and the failure of Vrbo support to address the double charging issue and im still diputing this issue with the bank and waiting for resolution.
