The room was cozy. I like that we were far enough from the strip that is was quiet but still close enough to dive within 10 minutes. Would def stay again The only complaint( which is not the hotels fault) was when we went to park in front of our room we couldn't because the person next to it took up both spots. Other than that great place to stay!

Hey Caleb--this is Michael Schwalbe, the Desert Moon Motel's owner. Thanks for staying with us during your recent trip to Las Vegas. I have to ask, though -- if you got what you paid for, why are you dissatisfied?For others reading this, to be clear, Caleb was staying in a clean, freshly remodeled room. At no point during his stay did he raise a single concern about the motel or his room. At no point did he ask for anything to be improved or fixed. And his room (#30) is one of the nicest on the property. Pictures of it can be seen on our website; judge for yourself.Tell you what, Caleb -- if you can find another motel anywhere on Fremont at a lower price, that is as well-appointed and furnished (with full kitchenette / stovetop) and as clean and modern , I'll personally refund your entire stay out of my own pocket. The front desk lady was so nice!! Loved the room and the stay. They also had a mini dog area with fake grass & gate & poop bags which was so nice. Thank you!

The owners of Desert Moon were friendly and helpful. The AC had a bit of trouble keeping up with the record temperatures Vegas was experiencing, but the owners cannot do much about the weather. All in all, I had a wonderful time and would stay at the motel again.

Friendly service and affordable hotel

Affordable and comfortable enough to make it worth it; still close to Fremont(15 minute walk) street, but far enough from casinos to be quiet.

I liked the kitchenette and friendliness of staff. I did not like the outdated air conditioner that didn't cool the entire room.

You mentioned the air conditioner -- I am in the process of replacing all of our outdated air conditioners, and have purchased two more new units just this week, but they haven't been installed yet.
