The only thing I could say is leave a garage door opener for guest who drive. And clean cans in the garage between guest Everything else was excellent.

Worked for our needs.

Great location and safe. Quiet neighborhood. Pool was nice to have access to! Comfy couch and beds. The instructions said, no shoes on the carpet but the carpets were very worn and dirty. I walked around barefoot day one and the floor turned my feet black. We just kept sandals on.

No shoes on the carpet means no outside shoes. Normally people wear house shoes inside. The carpet isn’t dirty and the stains come from guests who choose to not follow the house rules. Carpet is cleaned/shampooed every 2 weeks. Thank you!

Death Valley Launching Pad

Very nice house. Great location for those doing a day trip to Death Valley NP Owner was responsive with changing the hvac to heat when the weather got cold. It was late so I appreciated the timeliness

Functional but bizarre and stressful.

Functional: Solidly built house in the back of a nice neighborhood. Comfortable mattresses. Nice lay-out. Dysfunctional home owner. We pulled up listings with private pool, this came up. We didn’t read the fine print that it wasn’t actually true. Towels/blankets. We had two adults and two children. We were given one older, worn towel and washcloth/person. We were refused hand towels or extra towels as supposedly I don’t need an extra towel to dry my hair. I should have enough. I haven’t had someone tell me how many towels I’m allowed to use in decades. Blankets- thin, old, don’t cover. I had to go buy new blanket to sleep in comfort. Yes tv in rooms. But bought small tv stands so cannot watch from the bed but have to watch by sitting on the floor. Temperature. Lies about how it has to be 76 or above legally. Not true (except specific times on Tuesday and Thursdays). Not in description. Have a medical need for low 70’s. And truthfully I’m still recovering health wise from the trip. She kept changing it. Soap containers were empty. Bought extra cleaning sponges for kitchen sink. First night. Smoke detector went off in the middle of the night. We removed it and it’s bad batteries. We did forget to mention it. But she wanted to charge/yell at us for it when it wasn’t broken. Just removed so not loud beep and bad batteries were still with it. We were in Vegas for vacation and to relax. Relaxing it was not. There’s more but running out of room.

You shouldn’t even be allowed to leave a review with how disgusting and dishonest of a guest you were! You were asked to pay for the mess you left in my home, the excessive trash, diapers left in my trash and feces that was left behind in my toilet! But I know you’re not a person who likes to take accountability. Your depiction of my home is incorrect, never is there anything advertised about a private pool. You came into my home trying to manipulate from day one. Requesting early check in, more towels, more blankets and more handsoap as if you were staying in a hotel. This is my personal home that I opened up to you and you lied about medical conditions to tamper with my home temperature which I informed you I’m on the NV Energy consumption program but you used a medical condition to undermine that and retaliated when the temp changed back to its settings CONTROLLED BY NV ENERGY! But you blamed me and messed my home up intentionally in retaliation. You are the true definition of a Karen. It’s not unreasonable or delusional to provide guests with house rules that are expected to be upheld and the guest chooses to do whatever they want to do…but I’m delusional! You are by far the worst guest I’ve EVER HAD in all my years of hosting! Lesson learned and moving on.

Wonderful house

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is within easy walking distance to Albertsons and a wide variety of restaurants. The neighborhood is quiet but yet near a main road making it easy to get to wherever we wanted to go. Our bed was quite comfortable. . There weren’t very many towels or washcloths so we laundered them halfway through our week which wasn’t an issue as the washer and dryer are very nice and laundry detergent was available. We will definitely stay here again.

Nice House, Good Location

Overall the house was nice. The location was great as it's by grocery stores and restaurants. The reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was due to the comfort of the beds and the lack of hand soap, dish soap, towels and dishes. There were 6 of us that stayed at the house and we had another 4 family members come over for lunch and dinner and needed to buy disposable plates and utensils. It was a few small things that would've made the stay perfect.

Thank you for your review! My home is set up according to what guests tell me their needs are. So the lack of communication could’ve been improved by responding to my messages when I reached out and also providing me with the necessary information and details of what your trip/stay would include… such as additional guests for dinner! I left house rules that requested no food or drink be in the rooms upstairs and there were goldfish crackers found under the beds and other food items. Used dishes were also not clean and there was plenty of soap in the showers for your length of stay. This is my home I’m sharing, I’m not a large conglomerate or corporation, I’m a person opening my home to guests. Thanks again! Glad you enjoyed your stay overall.

This was a great house for 7 in my family to stay at and the host was great

We flew into Vegas for an event that my teenage son was in at SEMA. Not knowing anything about this area we most certainly lucked out finding this home and host. The owner was very sweet, accommodating and responsive. She gave all details necessary and was helpful. The home was of a great size , clean and had everything we needed. The pool and hot tub were great bonuses. If we were to return to Vegas this would definitely be a place that we would stay at again.

Not what we wanted

We were very disappointed that this place had a community, pool and hot tub, we had chosen private pool under the filters, and it still pulled up this property, we’re not happy with the interior, quality linens, and bedding. Host was nice enough, but was unwilling to refund us our extra nights, but nothing I can do about it at this point.

My home is a place that I’m very proud of and very proud to share with others. Unfortunately, some will have issues with the space, we host create no matter what we do, but when you list your amenities properly with accompanied photos, give accurate and detailed descriptions, it’s literally up to the guests to read and do their due diligence to research and make sure the space is right for you. As far as my homes quality, I take pride in being a short term rental host and use the same quality linens that I use in my own personal space & not once have I received any complaints about the quality. Before becoming a host I was first a short term rental guest for 8 years and fell in love with the idea. I always wanted to own my own bed and breakfast, but my life is too busy to actually do that so becoming a short term rental host was the next best option! So this isn’t something I jumped into lightly or just to make the income. I truly take pleasure in providing a safe and comfortable space to guests and their families and friends and look forward to improving with every successful visit, but I’m aware there will be missed opportunities to make all guests feel pleased for whatever reasons. I can not refund full night stays for not reading descriptions or looking at the pictures of my listings and checking the amenities before booking. At the end of the day, this is a costly industry which is why I make sure my home is right for the person booking and I accept questions throughout the day and late into the evening no matter what I have going on. There’s nothing I can do when a guest trashes my place physically and then request a refund when I have to bring additional cleaners into the picture. It’s just not a fair situation, but I’m still open for concerns and always want improvement. However, I will not be bullied! I cherish every guest and their experience!
