Wonderful rental
Publié le 29 nov. 2024 sur HomeAway3 buddies having a yearly reunion wanted to enjoy LasVegas but get away from the hustle and crowds on the strip and Fremont Street. This house was perfect, great neighborhood, easy access to all of Las Vegas, Sigrid, the owner was welcoming and helpful. would rent again without question. Recommend the hidden gem in Las Vegas are microbreweries in Art District, try one or more both for beer and food.

Our only beef was the pool and hot tub were not usable at the arrival temperatures and the cost to heat them was prohibitive. Nice yard with interesting plants and birds. Easy access to shopping, dining and sightseeing. Traffic noise as it’s on a corner but not bad. All in all a lovely place to vacation!

Relaxing, comfortable home with pool and beautiful garden
Publié le 11 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is a spacious, beautiful home with attractive, private, landscaped outdoor space. It's in a quiet, safe, residential neighborhood. The gardens offer a tropical oasis. There always seems to be roses blooming everywhere among the palm trees and flowering plants. With the patios, pool and spa (hot tub) to use anytime day or night you can enjoy plenty of time relaxing outdoors having drinks or snacks there or just enjoying the luxury of your own private pool when you are home. Every so often you may see a hummingbird also enjoying the gardens with you.
Indoors there are comfortable bedrooms, a large living area plus a dining area with formal dining table in addition to seating at the kitchen island or the glass table and chairs alongside the windows looking out at the pool and garden.There is also lots of comfortable seating with couch and chairs to watch TV or read. It's convenient to prepare meals at home here. Pots and pans and dishes and utensils are all here to use. Grocery stores as well as good restaurants are minutes away. We can't think of anything we wanted that wasn't there: there's a microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, toaster oven, espresso maker, blender etc. to use besides having the stove and oven for cooking.
It's a quiet, comfortable home. We have been renting it for years for an annual visit to Vegas. It is so much better than a hotel room. You'll never have to share pool and outdoor areas with strangers. You'll enjoy this excellent home away from home.

Our wedding and honeymoon stay
Publié le 29 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house layout was nice and welcoming but we couldn't have the temperature lower then 78 degrees when it's 121 degrees outside for most of our stay. I'm sorry but who does that when the temperature is that high you can't turn on the ac. We turned down to the 60's for most of our stay. The propertymanagerhas control over the house temperatureandkeptraising the temp over 80 degrees. We kept turning down so she came over and yelledat my husbandsayingthat is unexceptable. The propertymanagerdidn'ttell us that she lives next door and wouldknockon our door and if we didn'tanswershe would put her coe in ajust come in. What would happenw. We could of beenshoweringor in bed.The pool is only cleaned on monday then it olnly lastsforaday becauseof all the flowers and busheswith bugs gets in there and i couldn'tdo anything about it.where the hot tub is the property owner can see you through her windows so no privacy and we caught her walking in the backyard trying to get in the house. The master bedroom has a TV that is half faded and has no dvd player or tv cable at all. The spare bathroom has ants all over the floor by the toilet and all in the tube. Easy over a hundred of them.
The pots and pans are out dated everything stuck and burned our food or it would ruin our meal. Make sure you don't open your blinds because she has a gardener come everyday in the morning. Again overground so it's hard to get there safely plus the manager can see the hot tube from her windows so no.because

When you checked in, I called you since I was out of the country, to go over any questions you had, referred to the House rules booklet and we ended the conversation knowing you and your husband to be felt comfortable and safe in the house.
Why did you write such awful lies about the property? Where did all that hatred come from? You didn't use the spa because it was turned off since you didn't request it. The outside temp was 120F. Besides, it is impossible to see the casita because of all the vegetation around it. To set the A/C to 60F was nasty behavior, unwarranted, egotistical, unconcerned and totally out of place. You said you come from a state with high humidity and heat, so you should have enjoyed dry heat in Las Vegas with no sweating and an inside temperature of 76F.
If weekly pool cleaning was not adequate for your extreme demands, you should have taken the pool broom yourself or let me know as I would have requested that the pool company come out .
Yes, during the heat my gardener came every morning to look after my plants which I have told you beforehand.
I’m sorry I was not able to give you enjoyment at my property. But all things being equal, you created unhappiness yourself.

Absolutely Wonderful House with Owner!
Publié le 23 août 2024 sur HomeAwayA friend and I recently stayed at this house and everything was perfect! Sigrid is an excellent host, she communicated quickly and did not mind all my questions! The backyard is like an oasis, and the all the greenery provided a beautiful backdrop along with the mountains behind them. We were there to play golf and had no issues getting Uber. The grocery store was 10 minutes away or less, the grill worked perfectly! I like many of the reviews... "will be coming back next year!" thank you Sigrid!
