My thoughts about my overall stay.
Publié le 6 janv. 2025 sur HomeAwayI didn’t appreciate the additional fee to heat up jacuzzi and swimming pool with this being unheard of in other places. As well as there being lots of hairs stuck to the upstair bathrooms wall which I thought was gross. Other than this my stay was okay.

It’s reasonable to expect to pay for a heated pool especially in winter. The additional fee is covered early and clearly in the description. The fact that this information was available prior to booking but Harold still chose to book and then complain in a review speaks more to him than anything else.
While it’s possible that the cleaner missed some hair on a wall, I personally inspected the house after this clean so I must of missed it too, but Harold never brought it up to us during his stay. Aside from that though, be prepared for Harold to blast a host with pictures of any minor damages he finds within minutes of entering the home demanding to not be responsible and then when you as a host try to communicate after that to hear nothing else. Difficult to communicate with throughout the stay.

Publié le 10 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayProperty was very nice as listed. Pool cleaner was a pain and wondered why it isnt done at night. The only other complaint was the area off the side of pool.Itwas very messy and dirty over there. . Still have to look at it.

Publié le 16 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayMatt (the owner) was extremely good with communication and working with us, plus the property itself was everything that we expected based upon the pictures, and more!
We were a group of 7: Gma + Gpa, our two kids and their spouses, and a grandchild who was 1.5 years old.
What a pleasant stay! Very nice location/area conveniently close to downtown but in a quiet upscale neighborhood which has a park just down the street, and easy access to stores, restaurants, and shopping and anything else you might need. The house was nicely decorated, extremely clean, and everything worked as expected.
We will definitely come back!

Necessities extra?
Publié le 10 août 2024 sur HomeAwayFor 5 women on a 5 day stay we had one towel and less than one wash rag per person; only 3 partial rolls of tp for 3 bathrooms; only 2 dishwasher and wash machine pods; and only 2 trash bags but recycling expected. We expected to pay for our food, but usually essentials are included and a benefit of the VRBO. The contact did help with the temperature when asked. It was a nice neighborhood and pool. But I didn’t expect the extra expense of heating the pool or hot tub.

Bummer, I wish when I had pointed where extra towels were that if you still wouldn’t have been satisfied you would have opened up and complained again. As far as extra toilet paper, there are 2-3 rolls under every bathroom sink in the house for each stay. If that was not enough for you five for 2 days please let your future hosts know. Pool heat is not a basic necessity and instead of raising rates to account for gas price inflation we offer it as an add on. It’s covered in our very short description and I wish you had read that before booking.
