The "New" Pioneer is not so new looking, but the room was nice, clean, and surprisingly quiet. Didn't have a fridge or microwave, which was weird, but everything else was good. They were quite accommodating to get me in earlier than my 4pm check in time, which was much appreciated.

The key machine was broken so we couldn’t get into our own room without having to call Security, which meant we were reluctant to come and go freely due to the inconvenience. We couldn’t get in or out of the pool area without calling Security to assist. And Security wasn’t always readily available. We were offered no comps or any kind of discount for the inconvenience during our two night stay. When we arrived, our tub was clogged and we had to have maintenance come out. There was a wet bathing suit hanging in the bathroom when we arrived, making it unclear if our room had been thoroughly cleaned or not. Overall, not a great experience this time.
