Friendly Staff

This was a convenient place for us to stay. It was clean, but needs some updates. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. It would have been nice to have things like fresh fruit though.

When we checked in, a staff member, I think her name was Theresa, was beyond accommodating. Her attitude and helpfulness much improved my overall opinion of the hotel. The hotel was very conveniently located near our event, so that was a plus.

I was given a smoking room which I would never have booked had it been stated because I am allergic to smoke. I could barely speak by the next morning but there were no rooms to be had. Two guys were smoking pot under the cover and had part of the drive blocked so they could smoke on the back side of their car. The rooms were clean and well stocked and the staff was nice. The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night in our room for no apparent reason and woke us up to say the least. I would not stay here again.

The room smelled really bad. Front desk lady gave us spray to eliminate odor but it didn’t help with the smell. We decided not to stay and went elsewhere.

My husband and I only stayed here because we had points to use before expired and it was basically free. I don’t think I’d “recommend” it. Overall… it was just okay. Main thing for me was the smell of the room, it had a very musty smell. Obvious that the carpets need replaced. The bed was clean, bathroom was clean. Bed was soft and fairly comfortable. Room a/c very cool. We did not get the room that I reserved though. On the photo of the reservation, the room had a spa tub. We were given the handicap room. The lobby is nice and smells nice, but our room just had such an old, musty smell that I didn’t like. We did not eat the free breakfast and went to eat breakfast out. We did not use the pool. If you can afford it, I’d recommend to use an Airbnb in Laurel.

We kept having to have our room key rekeyed. Other than that. Great stay!

Upset Parent.

I booked this hotel for the pool to celebrate my baby turning 11..it wasnt told to me that the pool was closed or could be closed due to rain. It was only when my guests arrived the front desk told us that mangement told her to close the pool. I was very upset due to the price that i paid for the use of the pool.
