The front desk had no clue about our reservation. Didn’t know what type of room, how much it would be, etc…

Choose Magnolia Inn
Publié le 31 janv. 2022 sur HotelsI am happy with my decision to choose this Inn. It was exactly what my family and I needed for our weekend trip. The heater/ac unit was not working properly but was good enough to warm the room up. The shower head also had its issues but it still got the job done. Neither of these issues were big enough for me to request that the Inn service the equipment.
If I need to stay in this are again, I will happily stay here again.

I was glad I was traveling with a friend and not my wife, but honestly I would have booked a nicer place if she was with me. For a quick overnight on a guys trip it was fine.
Two notable things were there was no breakfast at all and no coffee makers in the room, so in the morning you’re on your own for coffee and food (there is a microwave and mini-fridge in the room if you planned ahead).

We were pleasantly pleased with our stay at the Magnolia Inn. The whole place was very clean. The rooms were updated. The bed was clean and comfortable. A train runs close by occasionally but mostly during the day. Other than that it was very quiet. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We would definitely recommend it.

The room was clean and spacious and the bed might be the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in. The only ding I have for this motel is that it took about ten minutes for the hot water to get to us for showers. Once the water warmed up it was a good shower. Laurens is off the beaten track, but if we looking for lodging and are passing by this way, we will definitely stay here again.
