Peace and Quiet

My family of 6 really enjoyed our stay here. Everything was as advertised and no fuss with anything. The area was peaceful and quiet and would definitely recommend this place if that is what you’re looking for.

Christmas in Lavonia 2023

We had a relaxing, enjoyable time qt our cabin. It was the perfect spot to have a southern, rural Christmas getaway! Our host was amazing & spent over an hour on the phone with me recommending places to visit.. she was so sweet & I truly appreciated her time! We are already planning for a trip back 💗

Do not take bass boats to this property

The online pictures makes it seem like this property would be great for parking multiple bass boats. 90 degree + turns with 3 foot ditches on both sides of the road. The roads to get to the property are single lanes that are barely wider than your vehicle. I tore up my trailer trying to get my boat in the driveway. I never went inside. The site contact was nice, but the property manager (evolve) is trying to keep my money because they say the property is as advertised.

Since you planned to bring an additional two boats with you, we encourage guests to thoroughly review the listing before booking, to ensure they find the perfect vacation home for their needs.- We try our best to provide a great environment for guests, but sometimes external factors like the roads are simply out of our control. We're sorry to hear that you experienced difficulty with the roads. We do our best to provide guests with detailed check-in instructions regarding parking.- Evolve always works with guests to make sure they provide a fair resolution. However, your request for a full refund did not occur before the Vrbo deadline, so Evolve was not able to honor your request. However, the owner did request that you be refunded, so a partial refund was allowed. We’re sorry we weren’t able to provide the resolution you were hoping for.- While we do regret our home was not up to your expectations, we’re happy to share that no issues were reported by our most recent guests. - We truly go above and beyond for our guests and are confident that future guests will have a wonderful stay!

Nice getaway - needs a deep clean + exterminator

Weekend stay at the A frame. Location was great, set up was great and easily worked for 4 adults. However, really needs a deep clean and exterminator. Spider webs in most rooms we needed to broom out ourselves and very dusty furniture, etc. We were overall happy with the stay, but definitely suffers property managers clean this place thoroughly before he next guest’s stay.

Not good for any one with respiratory issues

This place looks very nice on the outside, nice place to be able to bring your boat but that is the end of what is nice. The home smelled musty, including the towels. We had to go purchase towels and washcloths. There were cobwebs in the shower. The musty smell caused severe allergy flare up and no sleep.

Mice, cots, lots of electrical expanders

The dishes were dirty and had mice droppings in the drawer. The twin beds were cots and sat maybe 2 Ft off the floor. We couldn’t find sheets for the pull out sofa which also had mouse droppings on it. The electrical outlets were coming out of the walls and each outlet was over loaded with extenders to plug up the things in the rooms. This is the first time I have been disappointed in a rental on Vrbo.

David, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. - We certainly understand your reaction to the sign of mouse droppings, and we can't apologize enough. We set up an appointment as soon as the housekeeper saw signs of rodents. They came and did a great job, since they were here we have not seen any evidence of mice, and we will continue to monitor the property to ensure they do not come back - The extenders are surge protectors that also have two phone charger plugs built in. It's very handy to have surge protectors where the TVs, wifi box, and microwave are plugged in. We did check the outlets coming out of the walls and everything was secure - There is a linen chest in front of the sofa bed that holds extra linens, there is also a closet in this room with a large comforter. From now on we will leave a set of extra linens in a plastic casing on the sofa bed - We take your feedback very seriously and want to ensure you that the cleaners have been notified about the complaint of dirty dishes and they need to take great care in being sure they are clean and dust free as we have open shelving - The two beds in the upstairs bedroom are not cots they are standard twin-size beds with 2" mattress toppers We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and are confident that future guests will have excellent stays! We will continue to deliver the 5-star experiences we are known for.

GHSA high school fishing stay
