The free breakfast was all cold, and coffee was middling. In that my room coffee pot was broken and leaked, I was hoping for better coffee somewhere.

Thank you for staying with us, Genie! We're sorry to hear that you weren't pleased with the free coffee and complimentary breakfast items. Should you visit again, please let the front desk know of any non-working items right away and we'll be glad to fix/replace it for you! Thankfully microwaves are conveniently provided in the breakfast area and all guest rooms for quick warm-ups. And last but not least, the Scooter's Coffee Shop located a few doors down from us is highly recommended for coffee connoisseurs! Your feedback is appreciated, and we hope to host you again on your next trip to the area.

Our room was in terrible condition! Cigarette burns in the bedding, broken and stained lampshades, chair was disgusting, tissue box hanging off the wall, urine and pubic hair on the toilet seat and the paint was peeling off the bathtub. After walking barefoot on the floor our feet were black. The room also smelled terrible. I went to the store to buy Lysol to spray the entire room down. I also went to the front desk because I did not want to be charged for the damage done to this room prior to us checking in. Then a day after we check out an extra $50 was taken from my bank account.

Hi Shannon. Just to clarify, the 50 security deposit was explained at check-in and applied to the card provided to the Front Desk Associate. The 50 was then refunded (not charged again) to the same card at check-out on Sunday 9/15/24 at 10:48:16 AM. You were absolutely not charged for anything. Please contact our office directly if you need a receipt for the refunded 50 deposit, and/or contact your bank directly to see when the refund will post to your account if it hasn't already. Thank you.

Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. However, there was a strong musty odor. We opened the window for a while to bring in some fresh air, but the smell of mildew persisted.

There is clear water damage above the shower head. The paint is cracking and damp before i even showered. The toilet is not firmly adhered to the wall and jiggles when you sit on it. The power went out while i was packing to leave which was concerning.

If not, please give us a call so we can get word to Maintenance right away. Several neighborhoods in Lawrence experienced a brief power outage on the morning of Sunday, August 4 (not just our hotel). Thankfully power was restored within a few minutes.Our primary goal is to provide all guests with an enjoyable experience. Although we missed the mark this time, we would love the opportunity to better serve you in the future.
