Hotel was booked for a colleague. Very dirty, The room stank of smoke and he left early and checked in somewhere else.

The main door was locked when my husband arrived in the afternoon to check in. It was not clear why. And it took some difficulty - and sharing his id! - to get the reception person to 1-- acknowledge that we did have a reservation and 2 - clarify that he - the clerk - "canceled the reservation" that he first suggested didn't exist. I'm so glad we didn't prepay this one! It's still unclear why my son and husband were greeted with such hostility. Good thing the sports tournament was finished early enough that they could drive home.
