Publié le 31 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat space for our family inside and out! We were in Lawton for Basic Training graduation of our son, and it allowed us a great space to spend family time. As Christians, the only thing we did not appreciate was the Buddhist decor.

If you have children, Beware, the owner is distrustful, mean and vindictive.
Publié le 3 janv. 2023 sur HomeAwayShe evicted me and my grandchildren and during the process was ranting loudly over-and-over to the children, 'your grandmother is a liar and a thief. They are 8, 6, and 3. They were traumatized, with the 3-year old crying, by her unprofessional and irrational behavior. She wanted to charge me for any visitor that entered the home, regardless how long they were there. She wouldn't take cash when I offered it, she just wanted us out! And she also is claiming that my scrawny 8-year old granddaughter, nick-named 'Bones', broke a hot tub strap. An 8-year old??? I am an adult and I should not be able to break the strap. As she plans on suing me, she also stated she was going to report this to the army in an attempt to get my son-in-law, who is a First Lieutenant, in trouble, as 'he is responsible for his child's behavior', she said, when questioned why she would contact the army.
There is so much more I would love to say but am given so much space.... it is not a 4-bdrm home as three of the listed rooms are thoroughfares to get to the backyard. She has locked, glass-covered couriers with agates/crystals and then numerous flea-market vases, etc with written orders to not touch. There is a stool for 'display only'. It's almost like she wants something broke. Like I thought when I walked around during our introductory tour... I thought I rented a home not a wanna-be museum with clutter and flea-market decor.

SCAMMERS -- Margaret Schumann- her daughter Jacquelyn Willodson and her son in law Samuel Willodson are scammers who conspired to FRAUDULENTLY rent my home. Interesting that Margaret admits to CHILDREN because the reservation was for ONLY THREE ADULTS. Thanks for the extra evidence Margaret! Any potential guest is welcome to see the police reports concerning this Fraud case, theft case, and destruction of property case. Reports, photos, videos ALL available to potential guests who request them as well as the record that this reservation was for ONLY THREE ADULTs and they brought 4 adults and 5 children --- defrauding public accommodations is a CRIME, This is in the hands of the local prosecutor now.
VRBO repeatedly reached out to her to pay for the extra guests and she refused. Reservation was cancelled on VRBO advice and local authorities were called to remove them from the property. Police were present during their departure.
Photos and description of home are clear and accurate. Margaret had no complaints at checkin. It was only after her fraud was found out that she started, pretending to be unhappy with the house.

Listing clearly states and photos clearly show that murphy bedroom and sunroom bedroom are attached. Guest DID not read listing in full prior to booking or prior to arrival. I cannot be held responsible for guest not doing their part.
