Or get out and about to the beautiful lakes of the Haute Charente. Just 5 minutes away by car or 25 minutes by bike for watersports, wild swimming, beaches and bars. Charente Adventure park and Cassinomagus Archaeological Park are just a stone’s throw away.
Just 20 minutes away are the fascinating chateaux of Rochefoucauld and Rochechouart and for the foodies, there is a market to be found somewhere locally every day!
