This cozy three bedroom, three bathroom home has easy access and all the amenities you need for your perfect Black Hills vacation. This will be your home-away-from-home and a great place to sit back, relax and enjoy the Black Hills with your friends and family!

Walk in to an open floor plan with a modern kitchen featuring an expansive center island, perfect for preparing and having family meals.   The living room has a gas fireplace and a large flatscreen TV for enjoying ball games and movie nights "at home".  The main floor also boasts a King ensuite bedroom, large laundry room and half bath.

The downstairs offers a large family space with a flat screen TV, comfy couch, poker table, arcade style game machine and a full bathroom.  For your sleeping comfort, there is another King ensuite bedroom, a Queen bedroom, and a futon bed.

If you don't want to be inside, there is a large covered deck off the main floor with outdoor seating, a fire table, gas grill and beautiful, picturesque views. The walk out patio downstairs has a 6 person hot tub and stylish picnic table.  This property also features a pull through driveway with extra space for your trailer, making loading and unloading your toys and gear a breeze.

You will have a hard time choosing where to be! Upstairs? Downstairs? Outside? Inside?! This Black Hills vacation rental is one of those you will visit many times...

Located in Powder House Pass, this home allows you to walk out the door and hike/bike/snowmobile/ATV right from the house! Just minutes away you will find the colorful towns of Lead and Historic Deadwood where you can explore mining claims, watch a gun fight, even ride in a stage coach.  But that’s not all that is out your back door as you will be located in the heart of the recreation corridor in the stunning Northern Black Hills! The Mickelson Trail and Snowmobile Trail #5 are adjacent to Powder House Pass on it’s eastern and western edges. The road to the Terry Peak Ski Area is just a five minute drive.  Looking to take in some sightseeing? Spearfish Canyon, with its beautiful rim-rock ledges and mountain streams, offers great rock climbing, hiking and trout fishing and is just a short drive away, too! Mt. Rushmore, Keystone and Hill City are 45 minutes away along a picturesque highway and you are only 20 minutes from Sturgis and the Sturgis Bike Rally!

After exploring all day, you will be happy to come back and enjoy the hot tub at the cabin or take advantage of the Powder House Pass Community Clubhouse and its amenities. Featuring a huge gathering area, kitchen, game room, heated year-round pool and patio, and an outdoor fire pit!

Great for a Smaller Group
We had 3 couple. Each couple had their own bathroom with an extra by kitchen/family room. Love this place, I have stayed twice and will defiantly stay here again.

We had a great time, got a good snowfall the night before we arrived. The host was great and very accommodating. The only two knocks on the property are the driveway and garage leave some to be desired for parking, and the water pressure in the house is very poor, something needs to be done to address that.

Mold/mildew smell
At check in we noticed immediately that sheets weren’t washed, toilets not clean and dishwasher not emptied. The worst part though was the basement where 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are located had a mildew/ mold smell. After 2 nights of smelling this strong smell we decided to close the en-suite bathroom door and in the morning that bathroom was so strong with the smell I was physically sick. We reached out and they sent maintenance over who said they could not smell anything. I asked for another property management person to come and they said there was no one. I slept on a couch and we didn’t use the bathroom. Very disappointed because the house was not cheap to rent over the 4th of July. Do not recommend.

Nice, clean house with many amenities, close to Lead and Deadwood. Neighborhood has a nice clubhouse with a clean pool my family enjoyed swimming in. Only issue was that on our second to last night someone, who I assume works for the property management company, put too much chlorine in the hot tub so we weren’t able to sit in it.

Beautiful cozy home bordering black hills national forest
This was our second stay at a property owned by Kandolin. The home is beautifully finished with granite countertops, rustic woodwork, and thoughtful design. A luxurious weekend retreat. We love that this property and the other we rented allow use of the garage—such a huge perk in the winter! The hot tub was wonderful each night. It’s so peaceful in this development and nothing says vacation like soaking in a spa while looking out at the stars and the forest. We will continue to book and enjoy her properties!

Wonderful home!
This was the perfect home for our mother/daughter trip! The scenery is amazing! The home was so clean and had everything we needed! We took advantage of the hot tub and fireplace! Overall a nice place to stay
Very beautiful, clean, comfortable and easy access. Mileage to ski resort (Terry Peak) seemed to be listed as air miles rather than road miles. Wasn’t a big deal but something we looked at when booking this cabin. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here.
