Everything ok, except I never received the code for the front door or the code for the room. Lucky a guest was leaving and gave me the code for the front door and the cleaning lady gave me the code for my room. Otherwise I would have been out in the cold.

Gary, I am disappointed to hear about your experience. I know for a fact that on Friday afternoon I sent the instructions to your phone number that we have on file. Additionally, the guest that helped you had called us and told us that your phone was not functioning and that is why you were unable to enter the building. As soon as we got the message I dispatched our on-site attendant (not a cleaning lady) to resolve the issue. We also have the Ring doorbell that you could have used so you would not have been "out in the cold". I do appreciate you staying with us and I hope the remainder of your stay is pleasant.

The location was historic and updated facilities. The host friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.

Surpassed expectations!
Publié le 21 août 2024 sur HotelsMy son and i tood a roadtrip and Deadwood and Lead were our 1st stop. We loved this old, historic inn! So clean, comfortable bed, quiet, and beautifully decorated. We stayed on 2nd floor in the "Judges Chambers" and it had a nice kitchenette. Window AC worked well, and there was a fan as well. Super high ceiling and huge windows that overlooked the main street. Easy check in process with door codes texted to us before we arrived. Nice size bathroom. Will definitely stay here again! Staircase is LONG so if you can't do steps, choose a room on main floor.

This was a wonderful, historic building. The folks were very kind and helpful. The beds were very comfortable.
We definitely would stay here again.

The Stampmill Restaurant next door was very good. I liked the museums within walking distance. The room was very unique, complete with vault.
