Solid Mountain House

Peaceful getaway

Snowy weekend
Publié le 31 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe all had a great time at this cabin. A winter storm came in and dumped about 15 inches of snow. We were warmed by the pellet stove and stayed plenty entertained by all the games and puzzles at the property. We will book again!!

Fall Foliage Trip
Publié le 9 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe home is immaculate and wonderfully laid out. The kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen was particularly spacious and high end compared to other homes we have rented. (Although we could not get the upper oven to turn on, and we could not get the lower oven door to open…weird for a Viking oven!) The living area was very comfortable with ample seating. We loved that the house is within walking distance of the Mt Elbert trailhead! Everyone agreed that the beds were super comfy and the linens were soft and cozy. We appreciated the fenced in side yard for dogs. We loved seeing Twin Lakes and the surrounding mountains speckled with pops of yellow from the Aspen trees. Such a gorgeous time of year there. And this was a really fantastic vrbo. We’ve stayed in lots over the years, and this might be the cleanest, most thoughtfully furnished of all with the best layout. Highly recommend!

Wonderful rental home

This was the best stocked kitchen for cooking and dining that we have seen in a rental. More than enough bedding, towels, and toiletries. The host does everything right in this rental. Would highly recommend!
Based on the remote location, the internet is sporadic. However, for us, this was not an issue.

Great Location, Perfect for Groups

Lovely place
Publié le 14 août 2023 sur HomeAwayThe place was clean and beautiful. It was perfect for three couples. The kitchen was well furnished. Nice fenced yard for our dog. The hummingbird feeder and hummingbird show was the icing on the cake. We all had a nice time.
