dream oasis

Great for families with children
Posted Jul. 19, 2024 on HomeAwayThe house was built for large groups and is newish and well maintained. The grounds are clean and well maintained. The ponds are stocked with fish and kayaks and life preservers are provided at no extra charge. However, there are a few things that were not in the description that I wish we had known.
First, the owner lives in the main house which is on the other side of the swimming pool. There's also a travel trailer that the owner said no one stays in but there were vehicles parked next to it and the AC was running. So you don't actually have the place to yourself. The owner is around a lot and stops by a few times a day to check in and offer a tour of the property.
Second, dogs are allowed but must be leashed whenever outside. This is strictly enforced. They charge $50/day/dog so it gets expensive quickly. If we had known that we would have to hang onto the dogs at all times we would have gone elsewhere.

We’d like to clarify a few points to ensure everything is accurate. The pet fees are clearly listed at the very top of our listing for visibility. You paid for one dog, but also brought an additional, undisclosed pet. The rules, which you agreed with your signature, as well as those posted on our app and website, require all pets to be disclosed and kept on a leash at all times. Unfortunately, these rules were not followed. And you were charged for the additional pet.
Additionally, our listing specifies that the host lives on-site in a separate home, and the RV is used by the ranch hand and not available for rental to other guests.
For future stays, we recommend thoroughly reviewing the listing and the rules before booking. It’s important for us and the homeowner to have accurate feedback, and we believe a 3-star rating does not reflect the situation fairly.

Wonderful stay
Posted Sep. 16, 2023 on HomeAwayWe had the best time on this property! The hosts were so helpful and friendly. Everything was clean and well stocked. We loved fishing, hiking, kayaking, and just enjoying the land. They also had a wonderful pool. We will definitely be back!

A spectacular getaway!!
Posted Apr. 23, 2023 on HomeAwayWhat an amazing place! I was a little hesitant that place was not going to be that clean because of its remoteness but I was completely wrong - this place was amazing! It was very..VERY clean, everything works perfectly (Wi-Fi, hot tub, tv, etc.) and you have the whole property to yourself! The hosts are close by in the event we needed anything. This place is perfect for big families or parties - so much do!

Unfortunately, we got sick and had to leave early, but we definitely want to come back when the weather is warmer, to enjoy that gorgeous pool and try out the kayaks!! The house was fully stocked and clean. We loved the friendly kitties outside!

The BEST trip!
Posted Oct. 6, 2022 on HomeAwayWe could not have asked for a more perfect family vacation. Relaxing in the pool (with views of the most breathtaking scenary), making lifetime memories…without ever having to leave the property was a dream!
The only regret we have, as mentioned by numerous others, is that we didn’t book for longer!
We CANNOT wait to get back & we plan to make it our annual family vacation spot!

Wonderful Place
Posted Jun. 28, 2022 on HomeAwayIf you don't need fancy, this is a wonderful place to sit and rock, teach young ones to fish and catch some for yourself, enjoy a beautiful relaxing pool area. The kids had plenty of room to run and be kids. Best part was driving into the ranch and have our 3 year old grandsons loving the rollercoaster.
The hosts were probably the best we have ever had from a VRBO rental. Very welcoming and accommodating. Thanks for sharing your house with us.
