relaxing getaway at Ash Creek Hideaway
Posted Nov. 16, 2024 on HomeAwayWe needed a break from the hustle of every day life in Austin, Texas. Ash Creek Hideway was just the perfect place in all ways. Comfy interior and great outdoor spaces for everyone! We had a fire and roasted marshmallows, we played ping pong, we played board games, we watched the moon and stars! Quiet, peaceful, and beautiful. And so many birds! Woodpeckers, jays, martins, hummingbirds! And the fully fenced huge yard made our dogs able to frolic safely. We’ll be back. Thank you Wendy!

Perfect getaway
Posted Nov. 13, 2024 on HomeAwayThis was our second time staying at this location. Everything was just as perfect as we remembered! The scenery is breathtaking! Plenty of space and seating for your family. The house has everything you could need, full kitchen, oven, microwave, tv, etc. We traveled to Lost Maples and Garner State Parks during our stay. The house is in a perfect location and provided easy access to both state parks. The host was so accommodating and friendly! We will be back!!

Great property

Yearly Frio Trip
Posted Aug. 7, 2024 on HomeAwayThis is our second time staying at Ash Creek Hideaway and it did not disappoint. The house was very clean and cozy. We loved playing games in the evenings at the large kitchen table. The teenagers had fun playing corn hole and ping pong in the beautiful yard. We enjoyed watching all the deer and hummingbirds. The house is in a perfect location. A short drive to town. We spent our days at Garner and Neals swimming and floating in the river. The water was up this year! It was a perfect week!
Wendy was an awesome host!! She quickly responded to any questions we had. We can't wait to come back and stay again. See you next year!

Relaxing, clean, and comfortable getaway!
Posted Jul. 29, 2024 on HomeAwayThe House was clean, comfortable, well-stocked, and private, but not too isolated. The hummingbirds were our constant companions on the front porch. The morning and evening visits from deer and rabbits were so enjoyable. The stars in the evening while sitting at the fire pit were beautiful.
The house had everything we could possibly need. It was private, but still close to swimming, dining, and drives through the hills.
The host was responsive and always just a phone call away! She was genuinely concerned about our comfort.
I would love to make this an annual tradition!!

Amazing property
Posted Jul. 23, 2024 on HomeAwayThe house was much larger than expected. the living room was great for our family gathering. Dining room and kitchen were clean and welcoming. The bedrooms were made and comfortable. This was a very enjoyable stay. The yard was awesome for the dogs to run around and look at the deer. One of the best rentals I’ve stayed at. Too many good things to say in one post! Will definitely stay again.
