Stay by the lake
Publié le 16 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayClean place with a great view of Lake Erie. Well equipped kitchen; bbq on a big deck. Quiet. Within 15 minutes of the entrance to Pelee National Park by car and 10-15 minutes to Leamington (for grocery stores, etc.). A 5 minute walk to Hillman Marsh Beach et a few minutes more for the conservation area.

Lakehouse getaway
Publié le 24 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe were blown away by the views, seclusion, and impressive patio and grounds at the cottage. We had a relaxing five days, the cottage was clean and lovely and had all the amenities you’d expect to find at your home. We ate every meal on the patio overlooking the lake and woke up early most mornings to enjoy the spectacular view of the sun rising over the lake. Looking forward to our next visit!

Lovely spacious cottage
Publié le 7 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a terrific week at the ‘Cottage by the Shore’. It is a beautiful, bright, spacious and incredibly clean home. The cottage is well equipped and tastefully furnished. What stood out for us was how comfortable the beds and sofas were, so sleeping and relaxing at the cottage was a delight. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the large deck, reading and admiring the view, and enjoying many of our meals outdoors. Previous reviews mentioned the excessive amount of bugs and spiders on the deck. This was not our experience at all, other than the few bugs that one should expect being in a cottage by a lake! The cottage is private, the surrounding are quiet, and the garden area is beautifully maintained. One thing to mention is that the cottage is about a 20 minute drive to town so make sure you have all of your supplies and groceries so you don’t have to keep ‘popping out’ for stuff! Our host, Maria, was incredibly supportive and a pleasure to deal with. This is a very special place and we hope to return some time in the future.

Canada Day weekend
