Nice large rooms, good comfortable bed. Breakfast nice, staff friendly. Only downside, the hot water took forever to come through, water spurted out the shower head in all directions soaking the bathroom before falling off!

2nd stay just as good as the first!
It was our second stay at Thatchers. I hoped it would be as comfortable and relaxing as the first one and I wasn't disappointed. From the moment you arrive the staff are friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and quiet and, again, the staff at breakfast are also friendly, competent and helpful

We stayed for 1 night for a 2 day event i Leatherhead. Room comfortable and well laid out, excellent and modestly priced dinner with friendly and helpful staff. All round good value and a charming and welcoming place. Would certainly stay here again.

Great for Gatwick
Wasn’t expecting much for the price but I was proved wrong. From the I initial check in to leaving at 3am, the reception staff were very friendly and efficient. The room was large, very clean and a decent bathroom. Free onsite parking and plenty of it. Would use again if flying from Gatwick.

4 night stay at Thatchers hotel, East Horsley
We stayed 4 nights at Thatchers hotel, East Horsley. We asked for a spacious room as we had a wedding to attend and clothes to lay out. We also asked for twin beds, few stairs, a lift if possible, oat milk, Bran Flakes and an iron and ironing board. All these were provided, just as requested. We had a problem with locking our luggage in the wrong room. Jack on Reception sorted out our difficulty cheerfully, and greeted us whenever we saw him. All the staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. Our room was very clean on our arrival and was serviced without our even requesting it. The hotel was in a lovely setting and even though the road ran quite close to the grounds, it was peaceful inside. There was a spacious feel to the hotel, with plenty of areas to relax, chat or rest in comfortable chairs. Simone usually served us in the pleasant dining room and often remembered our orders without our telling her. She was very friendly and attentive.
