The Chalet on Fox road is an upstairs spacious apartment, two master bedroom suite, two full bathrooms located near the beautiful town of Leavenworth. The open floor plan and gorgeous mountain views make The Chalet the perfect home away from home for business or a weekend getaway. Families welcome!
The location is approximately 2 miles from the downtown area and action, located on North road near the Amtrak train station.
As you drive to The Chalet, you will be in awe of the beautiful views and surrounding orchards. When you arrive, you will feel like royalty, as it is the nicest home in the area. Once inside, pick a window to look out to enjoy the spectacular views in every direction.

**When guests leave reviews, a common comment is that the Chalet is even better than the pictures show. Come and see for yourself!

The large master suite has a comfortable California king bed, bathroom and reading nook as well. Plenty of storage in the closets for your clothes and luggage. The second bedroom is equally as spacious with a king bed and digital TV, including a bathroom and large closet. (Both master suites have large bathrooms with enclosed glass showers)
There is also an additional powder bathroom near the living area.

The fully equipped stylish kitchen opens up to the dining and living room furnished with leather furniture, giving you plenty of room to relax while enjoying a large screen TV. Imagine yourself gathered at the kitchen island as you share about your day while preparing a gourmet meal for your friends and family from local farm stands, cheese & charcuterie shops, wineries and bakeries.

The 18-hole Leavenworth golf course is a short 8-minute drive away. Enjoy beautiful vistas with challenging as well as forgiving golf holes from April till October. Grab the guys for a golf weekend!

The golf course transforms into a winter wonderland when it snows. Groomed cross country ski trails are carved throughout the course with snow shoe trails outside the groomed trails. Summer golf rentals are available at the Club House, and local businesses rent snow shoes, cross country skis, and ski skates.

Amazing Christmas Chalet
Everything about this chalet was perfect! We stayed over Christmas and when I opened the door I literally cried tears of joy! It felt like home with the Christmas tree and decorations! We wanted a special home-away Christmas and this property and little town did not disappoint. The check-process was a breeze, communication with the property owners (who live on site) was no hassle. Everything you could possibly need was in the chalet. The only minor issue we encountered was that we were never able to figure out how to get the TV to work in the 2nd bedroom, even after changing batteries in the remote, but that wasn’t that big of a deal as we spent most of our time in town. We loved being greeted everyday by Pearl the dog (we are dog people). We would absolutely return to the chalet. We couldn’t be more pleased with the property, the hosts and the town! A real gem!!

We were gathering brothers from three states to spend time in enjoyable Leavenworth. The ideal for us was to find a property located in a peaceful location within easy distance of downtown festivities, and this absolutely delivered. Gorgeous views, quietly located, and excellent amenities.

We enjoyed our first Christmas in Leavenworth staying cozy and warm in this beautiful Chalet. It was just up the hill from town and the Reindeer farm. The roads were plowed and access was easy to navigate. The dog was friendly, and did not jump on my car, as stated in a previous review. The beds and amenities were comfortable. Thank you!!

Relaxing Weekend
We had a great time at this property relaxing, talking and watching videos. We cooked using the fully stocked kitchen which was really nice. It was very close to Leavenworth and to grocery stores. The host was really nice and welcoming! Thank you for letting us stay!

Outstanding property, very nice touch with Christmas decorations. We felt safe & secure while we stayed there and felt our belongings were safe while we were away. Extremely pleased with the property manager and communications prior to our stay. We would love to stay there again!

Give the place a 10/10 but Pearl is an 11/10 :)
Great place!! My family has a place in Leavenworth that’s being renovated so it was fun getting to stay in another part of town. Super convenient location but also away from the hustle and bustle. The best part of staying here was getting to come back and be greeted by Pearl! Such a nice and well behaved dog. I would book again just to see her!

THIS IS NOT A 3 BEDROOM UNIT!
The VRBO ad when we rented listed this as a 3 bedroom unit. It is not, and having an inflatable bed that could be set up in the main living area doesn’t make it a 3 bedroom! The owner and agent could not have been nicer, and the unit itself was fine but that doesn’t make up for having 3 senior men in 2 bedrooms. We ended up having to use the inflatable bed in one of the two bedrooms so that 2 people were sharing the bedroom, closet and bathroom. This was not what we expected based on the advertised 3 bedroom unit. I have now checked and the listing has been revised to a 2 bedroom since our stay so, if that’s what you’re looking for, this would work.

Great location. We did however wish there was an easy way to enjoy the view out the back of the house. French doors to a small deck would have been perfect. It looked like there may have been a table area but it was in front of owners house/windows and not private. Also mattress in King size suite was VERY hard. We had to switch rooms for more comfortable mattress. Also a blind in king suite on bathroom window would be preferred as its lacking privacy. Pretty area overall!

Clean, but a frustrating stay
This place was very clean and easy to find. I did struggle with every time we came and left we were greeted by the dog that lived there and I’m not an animal hater, the dog was quite adorable. However, my elderly mom has asthma and it was an ordeal when we came and went. The dog ran into the rental and constantly jumped on my mom, myself, our car and my husband. When we arrived it was so cold in the place, it must have been 60 degrees inside. The other issue we had was we had to take our shoes off before heading upstairs, I don’t have a problem with that, your place, your rules. The problem I had was leaving one morning, the dog ended up eating one of my sandals. Again, I get things happen with pets, but if you are going to have this rule at your establishment, have a place that your guests can leave their shoes where the dog cannot get to them, or have the dog in a different area when the rental is being occupied. I believe it was the son of the property management that was there that ran into my husband and explained there was an incident and offered $25, nice gesture but my sandals cost more than that, not the point, but still very frustrating and though it’s a nice place, we won’t be going back.
