Welcome to your get away cabin in Plain, WA! The cabin is situated on .37 acres in the Ponderosa community (there are other homes and cabins nearby). The rear deck and hot tub, look out on evergreens. Depending on the direction you face, you can see other homes. The cabin is about a 20-30 minute drive from downtown Leavenworth.

Chelan County Short Term Rental code has capped occupancy of the cabin at 4 people. The septic system is designed for a 2 bedroom dwelling. There is a Ring doorbell which I can use to ensure guests comply with this limit. Guests found exceeding this limit without prior coordination will be asked to leave and no refund will be given.

The cabin is easy to get to, yet a world away. Should you realize you forgot something essential or just need a gallon of milk for the kids (or a bottle of wine for the adults), Plain Grocery is 1.5 miles down the road.
The cabin has 2 bedrooms on the ground floor, one with a Cal king bed and one queen bed. Both bathrooms are on the ground floor. Book for 7 nights, only pay for 6 - this is built into our weekly rate.
The well appointed kitchen will allow you to cook meals for friends and family if you wish. And the deck with propane grill is great for outdoor entertainment during the summer months.
The open floor plan blends the kitchen, dining and entertainment areas so you’re always in touch with your friend and family.

This is a serene, relaxing space to unwind and call home base while you explore the surround areas. Nearby property management is on call to assist you should you need immediate assistance during your stay.

**PETS**
1) Two pets are welcome for an additional fee of $50 paid in advance.
2) All dog poop must be bagged and placed in the garbage can outside in the shed and not in the house.
3) Do not allow the dog to poop or pee on the either the concrete porch out front nor the wooden deck out back. It's hard to wash out pet waste smells.
4) Please clean up after your pet or you may incur additional cleaning fees.
5) Dog may never be left unattended at the cabin.
6) Dog must always be leashed while in the Ponderosa community.
7) The Ring doorbell cam is used to support compliance of this policy.


The Pines now has WiFi via fiber from LocalTel. Google speed test shows 67Mbps download with 9 Mbps upload which is considered very fast.

The Pines does not have cable nor regular TV service. That said, the large flat screen smart TV enables you to connect to your streaming content providers (Netflix, Hulu, etc). There's also a good selection of DVDs for you to choose from. If you’re worried about people being about to reach you, currently both ATT & Verizon have strong signal strength.

Great Christmas Stay
Our family spent Christmas at Twila's VRBO. It was clean, well maintained and well stocked. There was substantial snowfall the night before we left and was very surprised to find the roads were plowed so had no trouble getting to the main roads.

We had a wonderful stay for our first visit to Leavenworth. The kitchen was amazingly stocked with coffee and tea selection we enjoyed multiple times a day. The hot tub was easy to use and was not over chlorinated. The Cabin also has a great selection of games to enjoy for a family stay.

Nice getaway that is as described. Kitchen was well stocked and no shortage of books and games. Pleasant deck with hot tub to hang out on. About 20 minutes drive from downtown Leavenworth. The (very) small town of Plain is only about a mile away and has a small grocery and a cafe.

Great cabin and excellent accomodations
We chose the cabin for the hot tub but upon arrival realized it was so much more! The cabin was furnished excellently, every appliance we could need and everything you needed because a wonderful meal. I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to possibly going back during the winter.

Perfect size for two couples. We were in town for a wedding and it was four full days of events, so having the cabin a place to come back to and unwind, have quite time and just visit with each other was perfect. Twila was wonderful to work with and always fast to reply to my questions prior to arrival. We did not have a need to contact her during our stay. Everything was as described.

What a wonderful place! the cabin was beautiful, the setting was peaceful and absolutely nothing was misrepresented for this rental. We know nothing is perfect. There were a few MINOR glitches the first day, but our hostess was Amazing! She responded almost immediately and the "fixes" were so seamless, we weren't even inconvenienced for a minute. We all agreed we would return here for our next sister's trip.

Cabin Sanctuary
We were looking for a quiet cabin weekend getaway with a hot tub and this rental totally fit the bill. Very well appointed and nicely decorated cabin. Very clean with a great kitchen. The and hot tub was plenty hot and was semi-secluded with a nice view of pine trees. I would rent again.

Lovely weekend stay
My group had a lovely stay! The house was clean, comfortable, and incredibly well set up for visitors. Everything was labeled (which was so helpful!), and there were even directions out for the coffee maker! The house had all of the kitchen gadgets we could want. The hot tub was spacious. The beds were comfy (firm but nice after a lot of skiing and soak time). Twila was incredibly communicative before our stay. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat the next time we visit Plain.

Our Pacific NW Retreat
This has been our go-to cabin when staying in the Leavenworth area and we have stayed here several times now. The cabin, the owner and the property manager have always been fantastic. The cabin is clean with with comfortable beds, very well equipped kitchen and nice living room. The cabin is in a quiet neighborhood with a great deck to sit on and relax after a day of hiking. The cabin is centrally located to many wonderful day hike trails and to lake Wenatchee.
