We called ahead to request neighboring rooms since we were traveling with friends. The hotel assured us that they would accommodate this request, but upon arrival, we were placed on different floors instead. The front desk staff was extremely rude and dismissive, making no effort to resolve the issue. It was a disappointing experience, but on a positive note, they do have good breakfast options.

For the $815.00 spent for 3 nights, this hotel left much to be desired. The room is very small. The coat/clothes rack halfway blocks the heater. No counter space in the “bathroom”. Toilet seat warped and plastic is bubbling. Tub has many areas where the paint is worn off. We only got 2 medium size towels for 2 adults. When I asked for 2 more, I was given a look and huff at the front desk, like I was asking for something completely inappropriate. I have very long hair and use 1 towel to wrap it up in while I’m drying the rest of me. Most ladies I know use 2 towels after a shower. The surge protector that has the tv, fridge, lamps, microwave attached to it is connected to an outlet wired to a wall switch. When we turned off the lights as we left for the day, trying to be conscientious about saving power, we inadvertently turned off all the above. There was no note ANYWHERE about that switch powering the surge protector. Called maintenance to find out why we lost power and it took awhile to get the answer. The maintenance guy said he had forgotten that some of the units were wired that way. He couldn’t switch the plug to the lower part of the outlet due to the types of plugs that were already there. The website doesn’t say this, but if you aren’t there for a full week, there is no room cleaning or towel exchange service… another reason it is good to have more than 2 towels. Only good things were distance to the Main Street where all the shops are, and breakfast.

My family and I spent 3 nights here & had a great experience! Full buffet breakfast was great (waffles, pancakes, sausage, eggs, yogurt, fruit, so many options for everyone!). Room was clean, we were on the 3rd floor & never had any complaints of anyone being noisy late. Only a 10 min walk to downtown. Would definitely stay here again!

To describe this property in one word it would be joy. The management and employees are not just happy but have fun serving you. This is an older hotel that management does an excellent job keeping the property in excellent condition. We look forward to staying there again.

It was a great experience staying at the Fairbridge Inn & Suites. The location was great and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Our breakfast was included and that was a big bonus. Definitely would return and stay there.
