Nice Place, Bad Communication
Publié le 14 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed our stay overall, but there were some hiccups leading up to it. Air conditioning was a deciding factor in choosing this location. Before our stay, we noticed A/C was not listed anymore. I had to contact several times about this issue and was met with rude responses stating it never had A/C. After staying here, we can see there is an A/C system. Anyway, all of that was a headache. They gave us a small refund that I don’t think was sufficient for the lack of A/C.
There were some fans, but we could have used more in this hot weather. Many of the windows do not open in the house, so we were unable to get a breeze going to cool it down.
The cleanliness of the house is below average. There’s a lot of dust and things under furniture. We have a crawling baby and this was an issue. Unfortunately, we did not use the hot tub because it was dirty with scum around the tub.
The property could use some updates. Normally, we wouldn’t be so picky about these things, but we feel it is not advertised or priced accurately.

Wonderful Stay

The cabin is in a good location in a nice neighborhood just a 30 min drive from the town of Leavenworth. The cabin has a true vintage cabin feel. We enjoyed watching movies and nights in the jacuzzi. The place was huge and can sleep quite a few great for families! Our only complaints were a lot of the outlets weren’t working. We noticed the only one that we could get to work were the ones with lamps plugged into them, which made it kind of tricky when trying to get ready or charge devices but we made it work. The king size mattress was pretty firm which isn’t my personal preference but was still able to get good rest. The lights over the jacuzzi we couldn’t turn on. Unsure if we just couldn’t find the right switch or if the bulbs were out. We made it work by turning on the living room light that lit up the area thru the windows. Other than those little things we had a wonderful time and would stay again.

Where do i begin
Broke smoke detectors laying around broken CO2 detectors laying around disabled. My daughter found a 9v battery and tried to eat it as well as 2 screws she found that wete supposed to be in securing a co2 detector. We also had to use our dechoking device to remove a small dog bone treat from my 1 year olds throat. This place was a hazard and should be listed as not child friendly or safe. I also submitted a full report to the chelan county fire marshal about the fire code violations

Adequate Accommodations
Publié le 7 août 2023 sur HomeAwayProperty is well past its prime and has current owners who have lost the desire to maintain its overall condition. House was dirty by anyone's standards with poor conditioned appliances such as island stovetop and dishwasher. Hot tub was not working on arrival and estimated fix was to take longer than our 1 weeklong stay so the Rental company did credit us $170 for the inconvenience. The rental management team was very respondent to the issue. House was large enough to accommodate 4 adults, 2 children and family dog. Nice location on the golf course and close to all outdoor activities. Landscaping was terribly neglected with overgrown bushes and a tree growing up through the deck. The patio lacked comfortable seating except for dining table and chairs. There was one rickety Adirondack chair available and another broken one in the garage. We would not recommend this property to future renters nor rent this property again ourselves.

Nice house, needs work
Publié le 20 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayLovely place in a great location, very close to Lake Wenatchee. But maintenance is not being kept up with. The pull out bed’s metal frame had completely snapped, meaning I had to sleep on the couch. The hot tub cover and deck was covered with bird droppings. One of our group found a nail sticking up through the carpet in one of the lower bedrooms. Just all in all, it needs some care.
