Cozy cabin on the river
Publié le 2 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed our stay at the Osprey Nest over Oktoberfest weekend. The cabin was clean, well stocked and very charming. The location is ideal into Plain and Leavenworth. We have already booked another stay for February to experience a few days snowshoeing!!! This was a gem!!

Publié le 25 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property is absolutely beautiful and private. Such a good location. Just a few minutes from so groceries or anything you need, and 30 min from Leavenworth, but gives you the feel of being in the middle of the woods on your own.
The cabin itself is so nice and very comfortable. It is well set up with lots of thoughtful touches.
The host (Shannon) is very thoughtful, and communicative, and helpful.
Book it now! You will not regret it. We will certainly be back.

Idyllic alpine retreat
Publié le 14 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy wife, dog, and I had an amazing long weekend at the Osprey Nest. The cabin was very clean, matched the description online, and was in a beautifully secluded location abutting a babbling bend in the river. The only consideration is that the two lofted bedrooms are not enclosed, so that could impact traveling with 2 couples given less privacy, but it was perfect for our solo family. Shannon was incredibly communicative throughout the process even though we had no issues that needed addressed. Would absolutely stay again!

Pleasurable
Publié le 6 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayEverything was very nice. I am very pleased. A couple of things I would share. 1- The cable to secure the hot tub is not long enough to lock it. 2- Check your dryer. It is either got issues or I was not smart enough to run it. 3- There was no coffee. I have traveled to Leavenworth every year for 20 years in a row. This iss the first time I stayed at a house that did not furnish coffee. We bought our own - we lived - it was not a big issue.

Thank you for your feedback as it helps other guests who are considering their choices.
I have been at the cabin today doing Fall chores, I tested the dryer and it seems to be operating normally (pressed on/ off button and start button and it ran as expected. I did clean the lint filter before starting it which may have slowed drying if not done). Thank you for mentioning it so I could check.
The cable has been on our hot tub mainenance company’s list “to do” as we had to move the eye bolt and now the cable is not quite long enough- I will mention to other incoming guest so that folks know to expect that until Sparkling Spa’s can make that cable change.
Coffee, thank you for mentioning that also, coffee is something we have never provided, we do provide the coffee maker/grinder and filters for the coffee maker. I will check our rental packet to make sure that is clearly presented.

Relaxing, quiet September visit
Publié le 6 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayNo other cabins in view - lovely! Quiet river, excellent stairway to bedrooms located upstairs, very good roads between cabin and nearby towns, lakes, etc.
Good WIFI and cellphone (Tracfone). Landline didn't have a dial tone.

SO happy you enjoyed your time at the Nest! I was notified by the guests following you about the phone and had the phone company out - they determined it is an issue in their line somewhere up the road and a crew will be out to dig their line and fix it this week.

Really beautiful setting
Publié le 23 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is a wonderful place to stay. It was quiet and restful. The only down thing was no bedroom downstairs but we used the pullout sofa with an extra mattress and it worked out fine. Very well stocked cabin with everything we needed.
