The Ryanair of hotels

The price for my room (no window) over my 4-day stay averaged out to 52€ per night, and I expected to stay in an entry-level “normal” hotel for this price. I also on occasions stay in youth hostels, which are usually cheaper than this but where one needs to adjust expectations in consequence.
In fact, in this hotel and contrary to my expectations, the room was too small to be comfortable, there was no table or chair in the room and only the equivalent of two towel hangers were available to let clothes straighten up. The bathroom was in a state of relative disrepair. In summary, this was more similar to a king of well-located youth hostel with a twist.
In fact, as I only noticed after paying, the price of my room was ranging from 30 to 90€ per night. It is a fair deal at 30€, and I'd recommend it at that price to someone who knows what to expect for 30€.
Also, it only became clear to me after paying that while wifi is available at the hotel, it is an extra at 5€/day.

1 soirée en centre ville de Leeds
Publié le 19 avr. 2019 sur HotelsSurprise à l'arrivée : pas de fenêtre, et chambre hyper exigüe. Nous avions dû mal lire lors de la réservation. Nous avons payé un supplément pour avoir une chambre minimale correcte, avec 20 cm de chaque coté du lit et une fenêtre. Pas de wifi, sauf en payant, pas de petit déjeuner inclus. Il est bon de chercher la veille au soir.
L'emplacement est super, à coté d'une pizzeria, d'un centre commercial, dans une zone piétonne (attention pour décharger des bagages et se garer. L'hotel a un accord pour un parking pas cher dans le centre commercial en face). Pratique.

Not only does this allow us to keep our prices as low as possible, it means our guests are never charged for extras they may not otherwise wish to use. Our rooms without windows are offered at a discounted rate to ensure that we can provide for all budgets.
