Lovely people but hotel needs some tlc

Unfortunately the room needs some upgrading and TLC, the sink didn’t work and the carpet was rather grimy. The toilets and showers are in need of repair and cleaning, we had breakfast once but again it wasn’t overly clean so decided to go elsewhere after that. Really friendly and welcoming group of people.

The property is functional however I the room was not cleaned properly, I found a toe nail clipping in my bed and and dust all over the room. The wallpaper is pealing and chipped in some places. Furniture is chipped as well. The shared bathrooms were dirty with clogged drains and showers with low water pressure. Tea and coffee facilities were provided but very limited. The walls between rooms are very thin, you can hear other guests conversations and then snoring. Road noise is a large issue as the windows are only double glazed and next to a busy road even in the late evening/early morning, in conclusion I would not recommend staying at the boundry hotel as you will not be well rested afterwards.

Secure room, hot shower, Great staff. Perfect for the cost.
