What a gem!
Publié le 21 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe booked the cottage for a week's stay whike work was being done on our home. It was a real home from home too. Everything's there, including electric blankets to warm the beds. Although thd heating kept the cottage toasty, we turned most off except living room and bathroom. Loved the log burner too, a real focal point. Internet provided was good, a bonus as the phone signal there is poor, as is most of the local area due to hills etc. Would certainly recommend.

Publié le 31 juill. 2022 sur HomeAwayThe property was very clean, and well equipped. Being an older type cottage, it had plenty of charisma. The village is situated in an ideal place for exploring. The main town of Leek is only a few miles away. The property owner is nearby for any queries, and was most helpful.

Quiet village stay

There's no mobile phone signal in the area but the WiFi in the cottage was adequate for our needs. One suggestion for a small improvement: a wall-mounted mirror in the bathroom would have been nice.
