Pink Pearl it isn’t
Publié le 10 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe host often did not pick up the call, so we had to leave a message for issues of getting into the house and locking it up. The house has multiple levels from room to room and one of the staircases to the second floor is very narrow and steep. The table in the dining room is very wobbly. Most disturbing is the downstairs bedroom was declared haunted by our relatives, who were so frightened that they left in the middle of the night on the second night. I would not recommend this place to stay and the price was very expensive on top of everything else.

These guests booked for a weekend in October and then decided they did not want to come and asked to book in December. I was able to accommodated them and did not charge them any transfer fee or extra. They then did not communicate through the app, never read the check in or out information and did not follow any of the house instructions. When Vrbo and I tried calling them they would not answer the phone number on file. Clearly they had more people at the house then they reserve it for because every bed was used and they stated there would only be two people because the other couple they were expecting could not make it. They then asked for a refund for checking out early, before checking in. Did they perhaps foreshadow the ghost encounter? Needless to say, this whole reservation was very odd and not what I have come to experience from previous guests. As for the claim about the ghost... I have no words.

Perfect for wedding weekend
Publié le 29 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe pink pearl is a perfect place to stay while visiting Leesburg. We were able to gather there for my daughter’s wedding at Creeks Edge winery. It’s so close to everything and so convenient. The beds are comfortable and clean and the house is very nice. It’s also great place together on Sunday morning for the after wedding brunch with family. Only con is the lock on the door can be tricky.

Great Location in Leesburg
Publié le 27 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe were in town for a family wedding. The location of the house is great, very close to downtown and close to everything we needed. The house is an old historic house, and while nicely maintained, does come with quirks of an over 100 year old house. It was a very hot weekend when we were there, and we did have some issues with the AC and the hot water. However, the host was very responsive and did her best to address the issues quickly. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay and would stay there again!!

Fabulous location for Leesburg
Publié le 14 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThis old house was within walking distance of downtown Leesburg, so convenient to everything. The house is roomy, albeit with lots of floor level changes. So long as you watch your feet, the house is amazing. Beds are great and there was plenty of room for the entire family.

Quaint, lovely historic home!
