Everything was nice with the exception of restaurant hours being inconsistent, and one of the bed sheets being unclean.

Fun for families or a group of friends!

We really enjoyed our stay. Such a neat place! The only thing I would say is the ice maker was not working.(bring some bags of ice)

Extremely clean and comfortable, beautiful view , management extremely personable, fully stocked with essentials, There was only 2 items I used that they didn’t supply , which was shampoo and laundry detergent. It had everything else , Our family had a wonderful time .

Stayed for the Masters, wasn't able to be there long, but the cabins are fantastic. Well maintained, and a great trip overall

Let Me Explain....

Let me explain my rating--we have a son at the University of South Carolina and were looking for a weekend getaway from campus with him. We loved the location and the cottages. Very peaceful and relaxing. We had a great time just hanging out-exactly what we all were looking for. Staff was very sweet and the food was good. But After a full day of work in NC and then driving down to get him, we arrived to find that we had to turn around and drive 20 minutes back to a Walmart to get what I think are very basic amenities that we always find when we travel whether it is to a hotel or VRBO-shampoo, conditioner, coffee, breakfast supplies (learned when we arrived that the restaurant didn't open until 11am). Most places have at least sample sizes of these items (minus breakfast!) as typical amenities. Also no blow dryer. I would not have minded if I would have known this ahead of time. We would have stopped along the way, but having to drive over 40 minutes round trip at 9pm at night was not what we were expecting upon arrival. We definitely want to return (he is only a freshman!) but I think you need to be very clear on your website what people should bring!

The cottage was nice and clean. Right across from the lake and Marina. Good restaurant there also.

Never again

Was very expensive. Had to do own housekeeping.... take linens off of bed, hang towels, clean apt, do all dishes,take trash out to dumpster, no coffee for coffee pot. Restaurant was out of a lot of their menu, If not out by 10---xtra 50.00 dollars Room was clean was the only plus. Just expected more for 194.00 a night
