wonderfully restored old mansion. Rooms were charming... nicely designed. In fact the entire facility has been thoughtfully brought into today's design standards. Very accomodating staff... although many appeared to be a training mode. Need to improve the professionalism a bit. They have a new general manager (had only been there about 2 weeks when we visited)... seems he has a number of things on his agenda that will improve the property even more. Food was good... but not wonderful. Breakfasts are good to dine in... probably better to go out for dinner. The view out the back is just what you see in the on-line photos... absolutely beautiful at sunset. Great place to stay... would do it all over again!

Our restaurant, Table Six, might have been closed a few days during the week but in addition to breakfast, we offer a Sunday Brunch and evening dining. On your next return, I hope you get the opportunity to dine with us.
All of us cannot say more about the views other than being spectacular and glorious to see. The sunset has the trees and mountains glowing in the distance that captures the draw of the Berkshires.

It was absolutely beautiful. The views from back porch stunning. The house is decorated with such great style. The house is warm and inviting as well as being very elegant. The staff all very helpful and polite.

Pleasant, professional and very helpful staff. Gorgeous, elegant and comfortable inn. Loved the beautiful view of the Berkshire Mountains from our bedroom!

Lovely hotel! On the edge of town with an easy walk to restaurants and shops. Staff was attentive, welcoming and helpful - especially Caroline! Enjoyed chatting with her and finishing our evening with a relaxing glass of wine on the porch.
Only suggestion is to fix the coffee machine or make hot coffee available earlier in the morning. Breakfast was delicious, but not available until 8:30.

Tranquil and comfortable oasis in Lenox
Publié le 6 août 2019 sur HotelsI have stayed at many inns in the Berkshires, especially in Lenox, and Kemble Inn is definitely one of the best. It's a beautiful building with amazing views from the back of the mountains. There are only 9 or 10 rooms, but each is well-appointed and spacious. They are immaculately clean. This was my second stay there, although I have eaten at their restaurant ("Table Six") many times. I have gotten to know the staff and I must say that to a person they are fabulous people! In fact, a few have become friends over time. They work extremely hard to please their guests. They exude warm hospitality. The inn is in the center of Lenox within walking distance from several excellent restaurants and shops. It is a 5 minute drive to Tanglewood. The prices are high, but they deliver in terms of quality. Excellent food, too.

Thank you so much for your kind words of praise - they're appreciated for sure. In our off season, rates are about half of the summer time and we have 9 wood burning fireplaces on property that are magical if you want to try us again in another season...

Great inn, and great spot to town . dinner was average and overpriced. And I thought sharing plate charges went out in the 90's especially when we bought a $160 bottle of wine.

Sorry you didn't enjoy all aspects of your stay. In your case with a nice wine purchase you should not have been charged a sharing charge. Can I send you a gift certificate for another visit? Do you come to Lenox often?
