Fantastic Beach House

Relaxing, homely holiday
Publié le 24 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stayed at "Ocean-front beach house" for just under a week and had a fab time. From relaxing in front of the fire (with the ample firewood provided) to adventures across the sand dunes and onto the beautiful beach.
Gen was very easy to deal with and the information about the house rules etc was very clear. We extended our stay for a night and Gen's communication around this was quick and clear. We definitely hope to be back sometime for another refresh!

Sunset hideaway
Publié le 20 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayWow, what a hidden gem tucked into the sandhills at Waitaere beach. A perfectly private spot for an extened family holiday. Beautifuly clean, great outside and inside spaces for kids and adults alike. We loved watching the sunsets while sitting by the fire and felt very privileged to have our own private path through the sand dunes to the beach. Will recommend to friends.

Perfect Sunset

Booking system not very accurate, thought I'd booked at a certain price, only to be landed with extra unexpected charges, to late to cancel as exceeded our budget. Not happy with that. No keys available on arrival, but issue resolved. Otherwise, great location, everything you need. Enjoyed our stay.

So sorry to hear you had unexpected charges Jules. We try to be as transparent as possible about charges but also we encourage guests to let us know if they have any concerns. Our mix up with the sleepout keys was so unfortunate but we were pleased to be able to get those to you in time for your guests to get in there. All the best

Waitarere Beach Batch
Publié le 29 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayTypical older beach batch. Cute and clean. Had all the things one needs. Kitchen well equipped, free WiFi, comfy beds. We could take our two dogs. A quite large area is fenced and dog safe, that was just great. The beach right there on the doorstep. We stayed for 2 weeks and Waitarere is a cool little place. Thank you.
