Minutes from Niagara Falls in a Historic Village

You'll love this home in our beautiful historic village. Everything in our village including the waterfront is within walking distance. Plenty of restaurants, unique shops and a large grocery store are nearby. Lots of outdoor activities are available including hiking, fishing, biking, jet boating, playgrounds and more. The Village hosts many events including an Art Festival, Jazz Festival, Harvest and Hops and more. There is plenty to do for all age groups. We are within walking distance of Artpark and in very close proximity to Canada.

While our house is in an extremely safe neighborhood, we do have exterior security cameras for your safety.

We have a guest information book in the house that will give you recommended restaurants and activities during your stay.

We have an outdoor seasonable fire pit for you to relax with your guests.

This home can only accommodate a maximum of 10 guests. We have four bedrooms all on the decor floor. There are two full baths, one on the first floor and one on the second floor.

My family of 5 adults enjoyed our 2 night stay while visiting a family friend. We were not in the house much but it was very clean, welcoming and well stocked. We also appreciated the owners quick response to a question we had. We would definitely stay here again.

Mary’s Cottage
Good for a larger family- lots of space. Great communication with owner-Very quick response about a very minor issue.The little ones really enjoyed sitting on the back deck and watching some birds feed their babies in a nearby nest. So close to the river- an easy walk to restaurants and to watch the beautiful sunsets! If you travel with little ones, definitely check out the Splash Pad and playground behind the Red Brick School. So fun!

Great location, nice older home with plenty of room, any missing essentials were very promptly supplied, clean… all in all a great vacation home! Possibly suppling additional photos of exterior of home and noting the steep steps to second floor would have been helpful for older tenants. Also instructions to the TV would have been helpful.

Wonderful cottage
We loved the charm of this house. Everything was great, especially the large kitchen and dining area (we like to cook). We also liked being able to walk to the shops on Center Street and the river, both just a few block away. And the owner was very quick to respond to messages. Absolutely wonderful!

What a great house to rent in Lewiston and Mary is the perfect host! Although our two night stay in September ended early due to a family emergency, we know we would have had a wonderful time at the cottage! A perfect place for a long weekend! We loved our stay at Mary’s cottage! The kids especially loved the fooze ball table. We liked the close proximity to Lewiston Main Street and the waterfront and enjoyed walking to places. It was also very close to hiking and all things the Niagara Falls area has to offer but not in the crazy busy part of Niagara!

It was a short but a relaxing stay in the cottage. The host was super accommodative and flexible all along. Lovely property! Very clean, updated on the inside. There were 7 of us and size is perfect for our group. Love the town and the accessibility to shops, stores , restaurants and Niagara attractions. Two days is not enough to see all of Niagara attraction and it was so nice to be 10 min drive away from the falls. We drove back to the house to take a nap after spending a day at the falls, and we went back to the Falls at night for the fireworks. So convenient, restful, clean, and hassle free. Mary is a great host. Would def book this house again. Thanks Mary!

Stayed recently with a group of friends. The location was perfect for walking to Lewiston. The house has great outdoor space and we were able to enjoy the first warm weekend of 2023 and the hosts were very accommodating for getting the patio furniture out for our use. First family trip!
This property is immaculate for being an older house-you can tell that they put their time and money into renovating it. This was our first family trip with our infant son it was a great experience. Enough room for everyone to stretch out and a lovely kitchen to cook breakfast in every morning. I would highly recommend for any families coming to the Niagara area, so close to all the shops and restaurants in Lewiston. My husband and I joked that we could just walk back from dinner and drinks that’s how close you are. But also very quiet in the neighborhood surrounding. We come up multiple times a year as my family lives here. We are really considering booking here again in summer time for our family reunion!
