They ID you before you can get into the pool, the pool is like getting into an ice bath it is not heated. Staff sits outside infront of the only door that can be used and makes you feel very uncomfortable. One of the young front desk girls has a hard time communicating in english. The biggest complaint i have is the do not have sheets for the pull out couch bed when i asked the girl said " No one has ever asked for that before!" So they argued with me and gave me 2 top sheets for my son to sleep on even though i had to pay extra for 4 people to stay in the room!!!! The manager said they don't have sheets for the pull out bed and that he would ask corporate. I think it was absolutely disgusting to sleep on the pull out without fitted sheets. We checked out 2 days early and finished our stay at the Hampton right next door it was such a wonderful stay at the Hampton. Dont waste you money on staying at Baymont.

Overall the stay was ok… the staff were not very accommodating. The breakfast was very limited. They claim it’s newly renovated but there were so many things to be repaired. Our walls were peeling and we had a leak under one of the sinks. The room had a bad odor, we purchased a candle to mask the smell. The blankets had holes in them. We asked for no housekeeping but while we were out someone came in and turned the AC off which was invasive. The ice machine was broken. And the pool was dismal.

It was a great middle of the road hotel with nothing unpleasant! It is between a couple of hotels, so we went to the wrong one the first time.

Our initial room wasn’t to our satisfaction, but the front desk clerk quickly accommodated us with a better room. She was understanding, quick and helped me move our things while the kids played in the pool. It’s an older property, but it is fairly well maintained. There is no elevator, so be prepared for stairs if you’re not on the first floor.
