We did not get the amenities that we paid at the time of booking.The heat in our room did not work and after having maintenance try to repair we had to move to another room. The room we booked was supposed to have a whitlpool tub and the desk clerk, Cheryl lied to us and said the hotel no longer had bathtubs. She later told us that there was one room with a depp soaking tub but never offered to move us to that room. Our reservation said we had free parking but when we checked in we were told we would be charged for parking. The clerk told us that she would talk to manager to get us a partial refund being we did not get the room we paid for. I will not stay at another Hilton owed hotel ever again. The hotel was originally a French Quarter themed hotel, very nice but now it has been remodeled minimalist-style, with cheap furnishings and ugly decor. We were long time Double Tree guests numerous times and to go again this year for our 24th anniversary, we will never go back to this hotel, nor recommend to anyone to ever stay there.

We liked everything except the room had some issues. The ceiling fan did not work and the exhaust fan did not work. The furnace was in the room would make loud bangs when it would turn off and on. Not relaxing. The hotel over all was very nice. They had just remodeled the foyer and dining area. The food was very good. Staff was very friendly.
